Tamara Kočišová (born Drezquenian politician and former collegiate athlete who has served as the President of Drezquenia since April 8, 2022. She was elected President following the 2022 Drezquenian Election where she would defeat opposing politician Hynek Beránek. She is the first elected female President of Drezquenia, and also the first to be from the Esoslavik minority in Drezquenia.
September 17, 1996, Tamara Marika Kočišová) is aEarly life
Born to Esoslavik citizens of Drezquenia, and in the provincial capital of Esoslava, Trenčín, Tamara was raised in a poor family with three older and two younger siblings. Growing up, Tamara didn't have many chances for extracurriculars outside of what her primary and secondary schools offered without extra payments. Tamara would play Esoslavik football, a regional variation of the common sport played worldwide, and would also attend weekly services with her family at Trenčín's South Esoslavik Church.
At age 18, Tamara would begin to attend The Pržemców University of Advanced Education, where she would major in political science, with a minor in Esoslavik Studies. She would graduate early after her senior year's fall semester due to exceeding the credit requirements.
At age 22, Tamara would attend the University of Porté and Mary Grace in the Alecburghish city of Kynnport, pursuing a master's degree in political science. At UPMG, she would play for the university's women's football team, but would have a season ending injury during the second to last game of her first season against Irene Boulevard University. Although she was offered her normal three seasons, plus a rare redshirt season if she had began to take other classes for another major, she opted out of the offer, and instead would return to Drezquenia where she'd pursue politics.
Political career
Member of Drezquenian Lieutenant Governor Council
In July of 2019, Tamara returned to the province of Esoslava, and would soon align with Květoslav Toman, a politician aiming for the position of Governor of Esoslava province.
In December, Toman and Tamara would win in the provincial elections with a 59% poll win.
In March of 2022, Tamara would resign from her position of Lieutenant of Esoslava Province, to pursue the position of President of Drezquenia. She would gain the endorsement of Květoslav Toman a day later.
President of Drezquenia
On April 7, Tamara would be elected President of Drezquenia with a 57% poll win. She would be inaugurated the next day at Velký Palác Prezidenta (the Grand Palace of the President).
On April 11, Tamara announced the Minority Recognition Program, which would recognize minor languages in Drezquenia such as Esoslavic and Bosik. As part of the program, four select regions with strong separatist movements to become their own provinces would have Provincial Referendums to vote upon if they'd become their own province. These include: Rakovník (Tábor), Bácsalmás (Prżemców), Olsztyn (North Slavonia), and Styria (South Slavonia). Bácsalmás and Olsztyn both had a referendum in 2019 to separate they tax and legislation from the rest of their provinces, while Rakovník had a referendum in 2020 where the separatist province elected a Governor to represent them in the Tábor Parliament. This was greatly criticized by the provincial government of Tábor, but was accepted and allowed by 'Vláda' (the Government of Drezquenia).
Personal life
At age eight, Tamara would be diagnosed with ADHD.
At age fourteen, Tamara traveled with her father and one of her sisters, Mariana, to Zamastan for a World Cup Qualifying match between the Drezquenian Men's National Football Team and the Zamastan National Football Team. After the event, her sister and herself would get hit by a car outside the arena by an angered Drezquenian fan after the nation's 3-1 loss. While Tamara walked away with a bruised rib and broken thumb, her sister would become paralyzed from the waist down. In 2020, Tamara announced on her Hooter account that Mariana was able to walk without the need of a walker for the first time in ten years.
Tamara would meet Drezquenian national, Valentýn Kříž, in 2018 while attending the University of Porté and Mary Grace. The two would date in Alecburgh until 2019 when they broke up as she was going back to Drezquenia while Valentýn was to continue his studies.
In November 2020, Tamara and Valentýn would meet once more at a open-forum with citizens from Esoslava. The two would begin dating once more and would get married three months later in February. In December of 2021, Tamara and Valentýn would welcome their daughter Lucia to the world.
Tamara is a renowned supporter of the Drezquenian National Football teams (men and women's).
Tamara was raised Esoslavik Catholic, but today describes herself as no-longer Esoslavik Catholic, but rather 'spiritual' with influences from different religions including Rodrígueza Christianity which she learned about during her honeymoon there with Valentýn in February of 2021.
