The Federation of Drezquenia, also referred to as the Drezquenia, is a nation located on the continent of Euronia, bordered to the east by Saltus, to the northeast by Sutaland (via Silesia Province), and to the north by the Nordisk Sea (via Gdanśk Province), with maritime borders with Kleshonia by way of the Nordisk Sea. It is one of the least densely populated nations on Iearth, with over 19 million people in a generally expansive geographically confined area. Over 90% of the nation is consisting of mountains and highlands, with much of the area's low-lying area being heavily developed by human civilization and agriculture. In particular, major cities like the capital of Pržemców are much further urbanized compared to the rest of the federation

The country's current president is Tamara Kočišová.

Drezquenia is a developed nation with high standards of living, and is considered a high-income economy. It has an annual GDP of X billion, making it the X-largest economy. However, the country has made significant advancements in science, healthcare, technology, and social development. It is a member of multiple international organizations like the Coalition of Crown Albatross, the NECTO, and the Coalition Trade Organization.

Congress of Alecburgh
National legislature

Alecburgh is a federal republic with a bicameral parliament, led by President Tamara Kočišová and the current Vice-President, Hana Kroupová, who succeeded Andrea Vaníčkov in December of 2020. The legislative branch is made up of the Lower House of Representatives, a lower house with 350 members, elected by popular vote on block lists by proportional representation to serve four-year terms, and the Upper House of Representatives, an upper house with 259 seats of which 208 are directly elected by popular vote, using a limited voting method, and the other 51 appointed by the regional legislatures to also serve four-year terms.

The executive branch consists of a Council of Ministers presided over by the Vice-President, who is nominated as candidate by the monarch after holding consultations with representatives from the different parliamentary groups, voted in by the members of the lower house during an investiture session and then formally appointed by the monarch. In the 2021 emergency referendum, however, the constitution was changed to allow for individual candidates to sort their own campaigns.

The armed forces have three branches: Navy, Army and Air Force. They serve primarily as a self-defense force whose mission is to protect the territorial integrity of the country and provide humanitarian assistance and security at home and abroad. There are roughly 86,000 enlisted personnel within the armed forces, with the ability for reservists to be called for duty.

The Navy only operates in the nation's lakes and the only harbor, Port of Gdansk.

Foreign Relations

Drezquenia is a member of many international organizations, most prominently being the Coalition of Crown Albatross, Coalition Trade Organization, and the NECTO. It has embassies and diplomatic consulates in 24 nations, and hosts more than 40 embassies in the capital of Pržemców.

Drezquenia's closest diplomatic allies are the members of the NECTO, with Tunio, Saltus, and Sutaland being the most prominent. Drezquenia is also close allies with Alecburgh, which has invested heavily in Drezquenian economic development and contributes much of the country's military aid. Elsewhere, international allies include Jerku, Barangadesh, Artegana, and Serra Leon. Drezquenia often finds itself on the critical end of major global powers like Zamastan and the WEDA states, although they have grown closer in diplomatic and economic ties in recent years.

Drezquenia normally stays neutral during time of global conflict, leading for the government to proclaim that 'There are no adversaries of Drezquenia."

Human Rights

The Constitution of Drezquenia "protects all Drezquenian and all the peoples of Drezquenia in the exercise of human rights, their cultures and traditions, languages and institutions".

According to the CCA Human Rights Council, punishments were right for the crime. The nation, which has wide-range of political parties allows outspoken critics of the government.

The federation has a very large LGBTQA+ population, especially in the younger generation. In October of 2021, Elias Zacpal signed an act which created the Minister of LGBTQA+ Affairs. In October of 2022, a year after the forming of the Minister of LGBTQA+ Affairs, President Tamara Kočišová signed the Declaration of Equal Marriage Act which legalized same sex marriage in the federation.

Although Drezquenia is known for its human rights, the Vistula Province in northeastern continental Drezquenia is known for harsh punishments for foreigners breaking laws and for the 1998 Riots in Vistula where the provincial capital city of Vistula saw riots break out after the inauguration of Michal Rybár, a gay and Black-Drezquenian, as the new Governor of Vistula Province. After three weeks, over a thousand people were arrested, and five including Michal Rybár were killed. Since then, Vistula has the 'strictest protest laws' in all of Euronia according to Rakovník University. Vistula Province is also known for being heavily influenced by the Esoslavik Church, and in-turn, be conservative towards multiple ideas including the LGBTQA+ community, abortion, and even alcohol in certain communities. In October of 2022, after the signing of the Declaration of Equal Marriage Act, protests began in Vistula and Esoslava.
