Regina has been titled as ''Lady'' Regina from birth as the daughter of a duke. Upon marrying the King, Regina automatically became queen consort in accordance with Cordonian law and was "Her Majesty The Queen" since 2004. There were some objections by conservatives in Cordonia regarding her title and role as queen when she became engaged to [[King Constantine The King Father|King Constantine]]–which would be his third marriage–but there is no precedent for the wife of a king to be known by a lesser title. The King voluntarily abdicated the throne and elected to become "His Majesty King Constantine The King Father" and Regina's title mirrored it, with her becoming "Her Majesty Queen Regina The Queen Mother". King Constantine died in June 2021 and Regina retained her title and style as a widower. She obtained permission from [[King Liam]] to drop the title The Queen Mother and simply be known as "Her Majesty Queen Regina", which was granted on 2 November 2022.
