Alicja Kowalska was the 10th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Malgrave.
Early life and career
Alicja Kowalska was born in Pakosc on the 18th of August 1948. With a Rohanian father Alicja initially struggled to connect with all aspects of her family culture which was further hampered by the isolationist stance adopted by the country at the time and the severe shortage of meat and dairy products which made eating Rohanian cuisine quite hard.
In response Alicja became more involved with the Gabriel Narutowicz Pioneers and started to climb the ranks of the organisation eventually leading several expeditions in the mountains around Pakosc. Alicja had to leave Pakosc during the Battle of Pakosc and completed the rest of her mandatory education in Epping which resulted in her enrolling at Royal Epping University.
Between 1972 and 1980 Alicja worked as an accountant for MalTec.
Prime Minister
Alicja joined the Conservative Action Party in 1972 and helped Adalbert Kaczmarek achieve an unprecedented victory in the 1974 Malgravean Emergency General Election, although, due to their employment at MalTec they didn't run personally for election.
After leaving MalTec Alicja contested the 1980 Malgravean General Election as a candidate for the Conservative Action Party and despite the problems suffered by the CAP was able to win representation in the Chamber of Representatives. Between 1980 and 1985 Alicja gradually climbed up the ranks of the Conservative Action Party and in the aftermath of the 1985 Malgravean General Election was successfully elected leader of the party.
In the 1990 Malgravean General Election was able to capitalise on the inexperience of the Progressive Unity Party and economic problems emerging in the country to win a majority. As Prime Minister Alicja attempted to privatise MalTec and MalMart and reduce the influence of the trade union movement, however, the deteriorating state of the economy combined with large scale strike action organised by the Most Illustrious Glorious Confederation of Proud Malgravean Proletarians (MIGCPMP) resulted in these reforms being delayed.
Alicja Kowalska was killed in the 1994 Karlino Central Station Bombing which sparked the 1994 Malgravean Emergency General Election
Personal life
Family and romance
Alicja Kowalska had both Rohanian and Malgravean parents and at the time was one of a few Malgravean politicians with at least one non-Malgravean parent.
Religion
Alicja was irreligious but like many Malgravean politicians was involved in the Ancestral Study Group
Death
While attending a charity concert hosted at Karlino Central Station, Alicja Kowalska was caught in the middle of terrorist attack launched by elements linked to the National Workers' Republic. Alicja was rushed to Karlino Central Hospital Authority and underwent surgery, however, the extent of her injuries combined with the pressures of Malgravean Immunodeficiency Disorder resulted in her death.
