The President of the Satavian Federation is the head of state of Satavia. The president is usually the Senate leader of the party with the largest representation in the Senate. The party with the most seats in the Senate recommends a President to the Senate, which is voted upon (and by convention is supported by all memebers of the Senate) and then confirmed. The President is a ceremonial role, and often represents Satavia abroad.
