Rihanh is the official language of the Rihan Republic and the mother tongue of the Rihannsu people. Linguists consider the language difficult to learn due to its complexity. There are few fluent speakers outside Rihan but this is generally limited to diplomats and business people who interact with Rihannsu traders on a regular basis. However, speakers of Akiiryan or Kirvinska are generally able to understand Rihanh because the language stems from the larger Samaic languages of the Central Europan Steppe. Rihanh has gone through a range of modifications and morphings over the generations by the peoples they fought and lived amongst. When they resided within the borders of the Tagmatine Empire as a federated people, their speech saw many influences in what has become modern-day Rihanh. Kzhad is the script in which the Rihanh language is written in.
