Fenarr is a microstate and, commonly called the "Smallest Directorate on Eurth," is a nation in Eurth. The nation is a Fascist State, ruled by a central directorate.

Government and Politics

Legislative Branch

The Fenarrian Directorate is the main body of law, and is made up of the Directors of Fenarr. There is no other legal body that can make laws besides the directors themselves and the Directorate.

Legislative Process

First, a body of legislature proposes a law, and a vote is taken in it at the district level and it's elected councilors. If it passes, it goes to the Area Council, an assembly of elected representatives appointed directly by the Directorate.

Elections

Elections are not held in Fenarr on the national level. Elections are only present on the district level, or for special circumstances in which an election is called. The Fenarr Board of Electors chooses the higher level of government, including the Fenarrian Directorate. Several smaller boards of electors choose the candidates that will be placed on the ballot for the election and also decides when the district will hold it's elections. Elections are required by the government to be held every year they are in on the same day, November 28th.

Political Parties

There is only a single political party that is legally allowed, though unground parties exist. The Directorate Party of Fenarr is the only legal party that is allowed to run candidates for office, and have an official party membership that is recognized by the government.
