During the late part of the 14th century the still divided states of Toubaze was united under the reign of Enhala the Bold, king of the Taubon Chiefdom. He used brilliant military tactics, most of which were still foreign to the native Toubazeans. After the decisive Battle of the Bog in 1381 against the Relsessit Confederation, formed to oppose the Taubon dominance in the region, the entirety of the native Toubaze region was united under a single banner and in the following year of 1382, Enhala the Bold became the first king of The Kingdom of Toubaze.
