Lakkatha, officially the confederacy of lakkatha, is a country in north-western Anteria. Lakkatha is formed out of 13 states (Grand-Lunila, Sivuk-Ilanean united territories, Slavic united territories, Voulhf Nation, Kononome nation, Karali nation, Qádalh nation, Urnaq nation, Arlhaedalh nation, Bitaškalh nation, Thlam-ann nation, Aluth-â nation, and the Qanalh nation) each representing the majortity ethnicity in the region, plans to actually unite the nation are in work. The nation was under the Neuewland and Njordrlann for over 300 years, but the ethnic people have been strong and are still the majority in the nation to this day. The nation is famous for the good quality furs, their quisine and over all culture. Lakkatha is the #1 producer of Wampum, and Wampum jewelry in Anteria
Ethymology
The name Lakkatha (IPA: /lakʰata/) comes from the native word for the region, "Lakkattíha" (IPA: /lakʰatʰixa/), the colonisers originally called the lands Rybarsía (sivuk) or Grainnelann (ilanean), but ater independance the ethnic name was adopted for the nation, and with time the exonym became Lakkatha. The names of each state come from either the majority ethnic group living there.
