Pan-Alemannism, also called Alemannism or Alemannicism, is an ideology that supports various degrees of cooperation among the Alemannic countries. Pan-Alemannism comprises the literary, linguistic and cultural movement that focuses on promoting a shared Alemannic past and shared cultural heritage, which led to the formation of joint periodicals and societies in support of Alemannic literature and languages. Its aims to unite Alemannia under a single political entity have crystalized in the mid 19th century and have since then symbolized the ideology's main goal. Associated to that state are Dosceriche, Mascylla, Tudonia and Tyronova. Other extended variations also include Gaussland-Nulvia and Leiden.
