The Republican Guard Rocket Corps (Gaullican: Corps de Fusée de la Garde Républicaine) is the strategic missile component component of the Ajahadyan Armed Force. It is one the of the three branches of the Ajahadyan Armed Forces, the others being the Ajahadyan Army and Ajahadyan Air and Air Defence Force. It is the smallest of the three branches, numbering 9,720 active personnel and the youngest, being founded in 1968.

The Republican Guard Rocket Corps is largely armed with domestically-produced surface-to-surface missiles, although many designs date from the 1980s and suffer from a combination of inaccuracy, reduced range and/or smaller warhead sizes when compared to other missile designs. However, military commentators have noted that the shorter ranges are not a notable issue, due to the likely targets for Ajahadyan missiles in the event of war being in neighbouring Satria rather than further afield.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

Ajahadya is believed to have one of Kylaris's largest stockpiles of biological and chemical weapons, and has used such weapons extensively during the Third Satrian War and the Dakatan War to great effect. The Ajahadyan government does not attribute any special qualities to biological or chemical weaponry, viewing them as weaponry like any other, and has not signed any treaties regarding their usage or disarmament.

Ajahadya's biological and chemical weapons stocks are believed to come under the control of the Republican Guard Rocket Corps, which is responsible for controlling Ajahadya's surface-to-surface missile inventory and would be one of the main users of such weaponry in the Ajahadyan Army in a future conflict. How non-missile carried weaponry, such as airborne bombs or artillery shells will be allocated in future conflicts is largely unknown, but analysts expect that each artillery unit has an issued stock of chemical shells from the RGRC, while biological weapons remain entirely under the purview of the RGRC.

Organisation

The Republican Guard Rocket Corps is organised into four brigades, the 111th, 112th, and 119th Missile Brigades, and the 132nd Support Brigade. The 11th, 12th and 19th are each believed to have around 300 missiles each, with the remaining missiles and unissued warheads being held with the 32nd Support Brigade which handles the transportation of missiles between units and the security of stockpiles of missiles and warheads.
