Formed in 2014 as a merger of three left-wing political parties (the Socialist Party, Collectivist Party of Marirana and Republican Left, it has since grown to become the largest political force in Marirana with a plurality of seats in provincial parliaments and the most amount of seats in both the House of Councillors and House of Senators.
