BRF 1 is the national television channel of Besmenia owned by BRF. BRF 1 was the first television channel in Besmenia.
History
BRF 1 was launched on the 1st July 1939 under the name BRF Fernsehen. It was the first television channel in Besmenia, and until 1960 it was also the only television channel in East Besmenia. BRF Fernsehen broadcasted from 1939 to 1944 Monday through Friday at 4 PM to 8 PM.
With the start of BRF 2 in 1960, BRF Fernsehen was renamed to BRF 1.
BRF 1 has been broadcasting 24 hours since 1990 and has been broadcasting in 16:9 since 2008.
