This chronological list of popes corresponds to that given in the Annuario Pontificio under the heading "I Sommi Pontefici Gavarn" (The Supreme Pontiffs of Rome), excluding those that are explicitly indicated as antipopes.

Currently, the popes reside in the city-state of Silvadum City.

RESIGNATION The pope resigned from the post
ASSASSINATION The pope was assassinated, be it in a deposement attempt
EXECUTION The pope was executed by a foreing country, or being martyred

UNFITNESS The pope became unfit to rule, for example due to dementia or coma
ACCIDENT The pope died in an accident, such as falling off a horse or a botched surgery
