Thought to be the original indigenous people of the island, they are related to the Azlo people of [[Metztlitlaca]]. There are approximately 819,000 Khmeng in Rhava, and in other Huang countries, as well as the neighboring states of [[Tikongkhett]] (Tikong) and [[Tagalo]] located in the sea of peace. the Khmeng use Rhavanese ingredients like lemongrass, cilantro, garlic, green onions, mint, galangal, and ginger as well as other Rhavanese spices. The Khmeng in the past have tried to get their own nation, yet the closest they have gotten are the Rhavanese run islands of Tikong and Tagalo. |

List of Ethnic Groups in Rhava
There are 6 major ethnic groups in Rhava recognized by the Rhavanese government. Each ethnicity has their own language, traditions, and subculture. The largest ethnic groups are: Rhavanese 60.02%, Tonmai 13.54%, Thale 9.02%, Lan 5.98%, Khmeng 2.10%, Huang 2.00%, with all others comprising the remaining 0.34% (2020 census).
Thông (Rhavanese)
The Rhavanese, also known the Thông, are the biggest Rhavanese group, and can be found everywhere distributed through the country. The Thông are known for having olive coloured skin, and having a unique culture to most cultures around the globe. Being that largest ethnic group in Rhava, they have been their a long time and are seen as a "normal" group to most. Unlike the Tonmai and Thale they are not prosecuted. The Thông use a lot of lime and Nuoc Mam (fish sauce) in their cooking, and make foods like Pho, Cha Gio, Nam Toc, and many more.
Tonmai
The Tonmai, also known as the Kedán are an ethnic group living in northwestern Rhava's Thaboul province. The Tonmai are known for having lighter skin, and having a very different culture, language, and cuisine making it the most alien ethnicity in Rhava comparatively. The Tonmai are believed to of sailed to Rhava from the Ygros sea in the early 1500s. The Tonmai cook with spices such as za'atar, and make foods like Kibbeh, Shawarma, and Pita. The Tonmai capital is Al-cedaan, located in the north western corner of the Thaboul province. The largest city is Al-rasif, located centrally in the Thaboul province, on the coast.
