Illés Anett (Hungarian: Illés Anett) was sniper in the Revolutionaries during the Lyonheimerish Communist Revolution credited with 21 kills. After the war she became a philologist.
Life
Illés Anett is Lyonheimerish by her father and Abjek by her mother. In 1954, she was chosen by Imre Nagy to lead the uprising in Emberek due to her keene attitude as well as impressive marksman ability. She served throughout the course of the war, being credited with 21 kills, however some claim her numbers were closer to 32. She was often accompanied by fellow sniper Nina Soliva.
She was also a radio operator throughout the city, spreading the uprising on popular radio shows to get more support for the movement.
After the war she was forced into joining the Lyonheimer Womans Division of the army, which she did not enjoy at all, leaving in 1959. However she was awarded a HSA by Imre Nagy after the war. It is also known she studied a degree in philology in Zozava. Not much at all is known of her later life as she was not a public figure, however it is known that she passed away at some point in 2010, due to unknown reasons, withink Zozava, Krenya.
