Laszlo II (8 January 1478 – 27 July 1523), also called The Golden King or Laszlo the Great, was King of First Kingdom of Lyonheimer from 1478 until he died in July 1523. He was given the common nickname the 'Golden King' due to how successful his reign was for the culture and economy of Lyonheimer at the time, as well as for being the first monarch in Thrismari to establish a parliament with more power than the monarch. He was an early member of the Zápolya family of monarchs in Lyonheimer, Laszlo married to Izabella of Eghear, arranged by his father in order to make the family relations closer.
During his reign he was seen as a rapid reformer, mostly known for establishing the Parliament in Lyonheimer as well as being one of few kings in the history of Lyonheimer to die in war. He was coronated following approval from the Pope in 1503.
