The letter 'F' stands for fighter.
- F17 Mediator, air superiority fighter
- F18 Asór, carrier-capable multiple-role fighter aircraft
- F19 Santana, multiple-role fighter aircraft
- F20 Vencedor, air superiority fighter

The letter 'J' stands for juggernaut, and is usually assigned to attack aircraft. In recent years the emergence of convertiplanes has blurred the distinctions between these and helicopters, though when in doubt, J will almost always be assigned.
