The S854 Acechar is a small, multi-purpose guided missile employed by the Carlosian Armed Forces. Created out of concerns over the expense of larger, much more costly missiles being used against asymmetrical targets of low monetary value (e.g technicals), the S854 was designed to eliminate a wide variety of targets. These include infantry, parts of buildings, anti-air missiles, lightly armoured or non-armoured vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), helicopters, low-flying planes and fast attack craft (FAC).
The Easun Industria J52 Arcángel heavy gunship can carry sixty-six S854 missiles. These are stored launchers located on each side of the aircraft. Live fire exercises have demonstrated it to be extremely effective, with a single J52 being able to anniliate dozens of hostiles simultaneously and with ease. Even in use against more powerful opponents such as main battle tanks, it has proven to be a powerful weapon, overwhelming and depleting active protection systems and damaging sensors and armaments, making it much easier for the J52 to destroy them with more powerful missiles.
Many offshore patrol vessels have been armed with the S854 Acechar, and it can also be fired from a man-portable launcher. It has been equipped to light helicopters and UAVs as well.

- S854A - Pre-production version. Phased out.
- S854B - Initial production variant. Largely phased out but still exported. Thousands in storage.
- S854C - Updated guidance software and modified engine nozzles to improve maneuverability. In widespread use with Carlosian military forces.
- S854D - Essentially the same as the S854C, though intended solely for airborne use. An upgraded solid rocket motor enables it to travel at supersonic speeds, making it more suitable for intercepting anti-air missiles. Due to a requirement for a more powerful motor and more fuel, it is slightly longer at 0.81 metres. The wings have also been redesigned. Several thousand S854C missiles have been converted to this standard.
- S854E - Currently being developed. Updated software, including use of swarming technology. Very limited availability.
- S854T - With inert training warhead.
- S854U - Based on the S854, a UAV variant for reconnaissance is currently being developed. The UAV is launched pneumatically from the tube, the propeller then activating and wings unfolding. There are proposals to also develop a loitering munition version.
