The party sits primarily on the Centre-right politics although it has an active Centrism faction. The Radicals (Western Frisian language: Radikaal, Estonian language: Radikaalid, German language: Radikale), officially known as the Radical Peoples' Party (Radikale Folkspartij, , Radikaalne Rahvapartei, Radikale Volkspartei), is a Liberal conservatism political party in Alsland.

Radical was founded in 1968 by Ernst Taussig and Rykwyn van der Hoek, two senators from Wottested representing the liberal Free-thinking People's Party after it was dissolved into smaller parties. In the same year Van der Hoek was elected as President of Alsland. The party in it's first years was one of two liberal parties in Delland, the other being the Free-thinking People's Party of Delland. Ideologically Radical was more conservative than the Free-thinking People's Party which was openly progressive. In 1974, the party won the most seats in the Folkssenaat and formed a liberal coalition with Van der Hoek as Premier. Van der Hoek - alongside the rest of the government - resigned on 27 May 1977 over their handling of the 1976 Jõgeru massacre. The party was then dissolved in 1978.
The party sits primarily on the Centre-right politics but also identifies as Centrism. It is a member of the Party of Euclean Conservatives and Alliance of Conservatives and Democrats for Euclea. The party primarily attracts support from the Moderate division of Alslandic society, the party's stated aim is to ensure "freedom, responsibility, community spirit, tolerance and equality of opportunity" remain a key part of Alsland's national character. The party takes a Social liberalism stance on social issues, it supports LGBT rights, Secularity, Gender equality and is outspoken on the party's environmentalist beliefs.

The party was re-founded in 1985 by Taussig who was serving as Minister-President of Wottested. The party found success at the local level in the Wottesteder Assembly and it has been the largest party in the assembly since 1985 and every Minister-President of Wottested since then has been a member of the party. The party's current leader is Ryk Monteverde who is also the incumbent Minister-President of Wottested. It is one of two Wottested only parties, the other being Yes Wottested (JAWO).
The Radicals are led by Mihkel and Urjo Eenpalu who both co-founded the party after Urjo was expelled from the Humanist Sotirian Union during the SYFA spying scandal. Mihkel is the current Euclean Commisioner for Climate Change and Energy whilst Urjo became the Minister for Government Accountability and transparency in Alsland. The party won 3.52% of votes at the 2022 Alslandic legislative election, under the 4% threshold to win seats, although Urjo Eenpalu was given a cabinet position in the 44th Government of Alsland. After the election it eclipsed the National Bloc as the largest moderate political party in several opinion polls.
