The family of Bartholomew Pierce, the CEO and chairman of Ember Cruises since 1999 and Ember, Incorporated since 2020, is a prominent American family from Florida involved in business, real estate and law. Pierce's maternal grandparents immigrated to the United States from Cuba and his mother is Canadian.

Stephanie Audrey Pierce, née Stevenson, the first wife of Bartholomew Pierce, was born on December 26, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia to Louise Grace (née Griffith; born 1944) and Adam Morton Stevenson (born 1943). She was raised with a Catholic upbringing and attended South Atlanta High School graduating in 1983. She attended Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida and graduated with an associate degree in pre-law in 1986. She met Bartholomew on a blind date and married on August 21, 1987. She worked as a paralegal.
Pierce died at home on November 22, 1997 after suffering from pneumonia related to a cold. Secondary factors included multiple drug intoxication from acetaminophen and dextromethorphan. Pierce's death certificate lists her cause of death as natural but notes that her over-the-counter drugs played a part.

Alonso Diaz Pierce, born December 23, 1990, is the first child and son of Bartholomew Pierce and his first wife, Stephanie Pierce. He was born in Manhattan, New York City. Although his family's primary residence is in Miami-Dade County, Florida, they maintain residences in New York City and British Columbia and his parents decided to have him born in Manhattan. Pierce is both a citizen of the United States and of Canada.
He would later graduate from Princeton University with an MBA and become chief financial officer (CFO) of Ryder, a company based in Miami. Pierce married U.S. Army Reserve captain and Miss USA 2016 winner Deshauna Barber. They have a daughter, Tiana Barber Pierce,[a] born in 2018.

She attended online high school after suffering from depression in middle school. She later earned her GED in 2022 after becoming pregnant and giving birth to her son Stephen Delgado-Pierce in 2020 when she was 17. Pierce's son's father is José Delgado, who was a high school friend; the two are not close and Delgado does not have a relationship with Stephen.
