Personal life, family and marriage
In 2008, Hampton spontaneously dated William Hochul III, the son of New York governor Kathy Hochul. They met at a party in New York City and secretly married. The marriage was annulled a month later. In 2018, Hampton gave birth to a boy, Zander Hampton, after a one night stand while on the Ember of the Sea cruise ship. He was born in Plano, Texas. Her son's father declined to be involved in his life. Subsequently after marrying Chaz Chavez, Hampton's son was legally adopted by him via stepparent adoption. Hampton's son's surname was altered to Zander Hampton-Chavez.
