The University of Vreusdi (/'vɾɜːz.diː/, Yniversdat Vreusdis in Vyvlander, more commonly known simply as the Vreusdi) is one of the most prestigious universities in Vyvland. It is mostly located in Vreusdi, a small town of around sixty thousand people in Wesel province, although it holds a fine art campus in Vlud. The university is consistently ranked as the best in the country along with the slightly larger Collegium Lorencis in Lorence, and was the best university in North Vyvland. It is especially well-known for its natural sciences and philosophy teaching, which are among the best of any university in Esquarium.
The Vreusdi has a comparatively large number of postgraduate students and research staff, and is thus a major source of research and the recipient of the joint largest endowment from the Vyvlander government. Many of its alumni have gone on to hold well-known positions and occupations, especially in the arts.
