Big Brother Durnstaal is a television reality game show that launched on June 20th, 2009 on DRS. The show is hosted by former talk show host and actress, Mirka Dragan.

Format

The show follows a group of contestants, known as "HouseGuests", that live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The HouseGuests are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, HouseGuests vote to nominate each-other with the audience voting to "evict" somebody from the house. The last remaining HouseGuest wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize of $500,000.
