This is the eighth season of the Durnian reality television series Big Brother Durnstaal. The show premiered June 20th, 2016 on the DRS television network, airing three times a week.

The main twist of the season was the return of 30 former alumni from the past seven seasons.

	Notable Events	Day 1 In an opening narration, Mirka Dragan says that she has been here since the beginning ... since 2009. She has watched the show evolve and she is so proud to be the host of the nation's best show. Mirka Dragan welcomes everybody to the 8th season of Big Brother Durnstaal. She announces that this season will see a record of 32 contestants and all of them ... are returnees. Yes, returnees from all seven previous seasons! Introductions will start from Season 7 first, followed by Season 6 and so on. Here are the houseguests returning from Season 7! From Season 7: Alzbeta Ruban: 10th out of 29 Alzbeta says that she was on Season 7 and made it to the Final 10 and she is so proud of herself for doing so. Many will know her for constantly causing drama as well as her fashion. Nina Scheller: 6th out of 29 Nina says that she just competed on Season 7 and it was an amazing experience. She is so happy to be back. Big Brother is something her brother and mom can bond over. Viliam Kriz: 7th out of 29 He says that his name is Viliam Henry Kriz, he is a Mechanical Design Drafter from Mesto Saint Gabriella and many will remember him as the villain of Season 7! From Season 6: Maryna Abkolv: 6th out of 24 She says that many will know her as Maryna Strnád but, a few months after Season 6, she got married. She is now Maryna Abkolv. She was known on Season 6 for being EXTREMELY outspoken. She hasn't changed and will not change for anybody. Radovan Skalicky: 8th out of 24 He says that he is Radovan Skalicky. On Season 6, he caused as much drama as he could and he was not afraid of anything to get the chaos he wanted. After a while, he started to really open up about himself and people really liked that. They saw him cause chaos and then they saw him be genuine. In the end, he made it to the final week but was the first one out in the Triple Eviction. Tina Dvorak: 5th out of 24 She says that her name is Tina Dvorak and many will remember her as being the mother of the house. Since the season, her children (Johann--18, Darina--16, Dusana--14, Tamara--12) have been constantly bragging about her. She loves being the cool mom. Since her season, she has kept in touch with Zhanna [Komar]. The two of them are very close friends. Mirka Dragan reveals that only six of the 32 houseguests will be introduced tonight. Day 2 More Introductions! From Season 5: Ander and Joel Falck: Sigmund Rutkowski: Silvia Grassl: 7th out of 26 She says that she is from one of the craziest seasons to ever exist of the show. Since her season, she has traveled the world and recently met her now-fiance. She has had a very lucky life and she is ready to bring her new experience into the Big Brother house. Day 3 More Introductions! From Season 4: Annika Rusnak: Finn Scheller: Mira Lindbergh: Ottilia Rozenkwit: Rose Kepler: Day 4 Big Brother tasks the houseguests to split up into the groups of their respective seasons. The group that fails to win the challenge will all face the viewers. However, Nina, Annika and Finn will all be immune this week for a very specific reason that will be revealed ... next week. They will still compete in this challenge, though. Season 5, ultimately, fails the challenge and faces the viewers. Big Brother tells the viewers that they are voting to give one person a power to Auto Nominate another houseguest next week but only from two specific groups. This doesn't count as an Eviction, nor a Fake Eviction. Day 5 Alzbeta discusses with Mira and Rose the importance of having a large following. She says that she hopes to do other Reality TV shows after this. Later, Mira and Rose discuss Alzbeta's fame going to her head. Day 6 More Introductions! From Season 3: Andre Kirschner: Anny & Joachim Koehler: Anny and Joachim are super, super excited to be playing Big Brother again. They both mention being even bigger fans of Reality TV, especially after being on it. Since being on the show, Joachim has been even more successful due to the fame. The family have moved from Chatham, Výchon to Durenko, Piva (Oblast) in 2013. They have been thinking of moving overseas at some point. Finja Mitter: 10th out of 18 She says that, when they last saw her, she was a 32 year old Biometrician who had had her second child only a year and a half ago. Now, she is 38, still doing amazing in her job and is a great mother to boot. It has been five years since she was inside the Big Brother house and she is so hyped to get back in. Reiner Hillebrand: Wobble Starck: Wobble says that, before Big Brother, he got a diploma for radio broadcasting and just got into podcasting over the past two years. Since his time on the show, he is a much more well known podcaster, he got married three years ago and he and his wife, recently, had a kid. Day 7 It is revealed that the viewers were not voting to evict somebody but, rather, to give them an advantage going into next week. From Season 5, they have chosen Sigmund to receive this advantage. Sigmund is able to Auto Nominate another houseguest next week but only from two specific groups with the first being Season 5. As Seasons 7 and 6 were the first two teams to finish the challenge, that leaves Season 4 as the other group. Sigmund chooses to auto nominate Mira Lindbergh with his reasoning being that she has won before. Big Brother then reveals that going into next week, as Season 7 won the challenge, Alzbeta, Nina and Viliam are all immune. Everybody else, even Sigmund, is vulnerable.

Week 2	Entrances
	Notable Events	Day 8 Day 9 Big Brother brings everybody to the living room. He says that, last week, it was revealed that Annika, Finn and Nina were immune but the reason why would be specified later. He says that the reason is now. The three of them are involved in a twist where all three of them will be vulnerable. Should all three of them fail to complete the puzzle, they will be the only three nominated for eviction. Should they complete the puzzle, they will be immune and the twist will carry on for one more repeat. Annika, Finn and Nina barely complete the puzzle and are immune for the week. Alzbeta and Viliam have a huge fight where Viliam accuses her of being selfish and self-absorbed. He calls her a 41 year old clout chaser. Day 10 Ander + Joel, Andre, Anny + Joachim, Finja, Maryna, Ottilia, Radovan, Reiner, Rose, Sigmund, Silvia, Tina and Wobble are told that, as the ones vulnerable, there will be three challenges that will grant them immunity. The final five will then face nominations. The first challenge sees Andre, Maryna, Ottilia, Sigmund and Tina SAFE! Day 11 Day 12 The second challenge sees Anny + Joachim and Rose SAFE! Day 13 The third challenge sees Reiner SAFE! Ander + Joel, Finja, Radovan, Silvia and Wobble are nominated for eviction alongside Mira. Day 14

	Notable Events	Day 15 Day 16 Annika, Finn and Nina are told to complete the puzzle or face eviction. They manage to complete the puzzle and become immune. Alzbeta gets into a loud argument with Rose and Andre. Afterwards, Rose and Andre discuss how nonsensical the fight was. Day 17 Alek Cardei and Melissa Lieblein enter The Bunker. They are told that, as the first two winners, they will be able to make important decisions. Alzbeta is nominated by many for "being fake", Rose is nominated by some for being a bit cold at times, Radovan is nominated for causing drama and Reiner is nominated for a lack of connections. Day 19 The Second Decision (The Bunker): One room will be closed off until after eviction. They get to choose which room that will be. They choose ... the bathroom! Joey talks with Pyatro and Alek and says that he has it in the bag for sure. people have been wanting him back for years. Alek tells him to be careful and a big ego will send him right back out. Day 20 The Third Decision (The Bunker): The rooms next to them have been redesigned to become ... The Half House. Every single thing (furniture, room height), is halved. They must select two houseguests not nominated to be in The Half House for two days. They choose Radovan and Wobble. Joey tells Annika that his life really changed after Season 1. He got so many media appearances. It was hard for him to not let it go to his head. He asks her if the sudden fame was hard for her. Annika says that it was awesome to be known but she felt like her family could have been in danger due to deranged fans. She was lucky and has been humble about things. Day 21 Joey talks to Melissa and Rose in the pool. He says that, since his Season, he got married and he even has two children.

Week 4	Entrances
	Notable Events	Day 22 The Fourth Decision (The Bunker): They must select two houseguests to head to The Half House for two days. These two houseguests will be immune from the upcoming eviction. They choose Mira and Sigmund. From Season 1: Pyatro Boskovsky: 6th out of 14 TBA Day 23 From Season 2: Sophie Hornicky: 3rd out of 14 TBA Day 24 Day 25 Those in the bunker are told that they will now be entering the house. However, all three of them are cursed. More details later. In the living room, Big Brother explains that Alek, Melissa and Toby are cursed. This means that they will not be able to nominate. They will also be subjected to the Half House once every week but can choose somebody to take their place. Anybody who enters The Half House will not be immune from any eviction. Day 26 HALF HOUSE: Alek, Melissa and Toby are subjected to living in the Half House for two nights but can opt out and choose somebody to go in their place. Toby chooses to go while Alek chooses Wobble and Melissa chooses Anny and Joachim. Sigmund, Viliam, and Zoya decide to throw a party in the backyard to lighten the mood. They set up music, snacks, and drinks, and soon the other housemates begin to join in on the fun. Alek, Alma, and Sigmund show off their dance moves, while Mira and Melissa strike up a conversation about their favorite books. Annika, who has been feeling homesick, confides in Finn and Nina about her worries. The three of them have a heart-to-heart conversation about the difficulties of being away from loved ones for an extended period of time, and they vow to support each other through the rest of the competition. Day 27 The houseguests wake up to find that the kitchen is in complete disarray, with dishes and food strewn all over the counters and floor. Annika, who is known for being very particular about cleanliness, immediately confronts Ander and Joel about the mess. Ander and Joel, who had stayed up late drinking and partying the night before, become defensive and argumentative. Their argument soon escalates into a shouting match, with the other housemates trying to intervene and calm them down. Rose and Sophie get into a heated argument about the distribution of household chores. Rose accuses Sophie of not doing her fair share of the work. Anthony Pomar, Ivan Zorka and Paulina Braun enter the house Alek, Sigmund and Sophie decide to stage an impromptu talent show in the living room. They each take turns showcasing their unique skills, from singing to juggling to stand-up comedy. Day 28 A + J, Toby and Wobble return from HALF HOUSE Andre and Joachim get into a huge argument. later that evening, they make amends. Paulina, Sophie and Annika get into an enormous argument. Ivan talks about being a grandfather since Season 1 aired. He talks about his wife, Josephine, and his children, Jonas [Zorka] (28 - Season 7 alumni), Sabine [Zorka-Brenner] (26), and Milo [Zorka] (23).

	Week 5	Entrances
Notable Events		Day 29 In the living room, the houseguests are told that a cure for Alek, Melissa and Toby's curse has been manufactured but getting it won't be easy. The cure is found in The Half House and there is only enough for one person. Wobble and Annika get into a huge argument. Paulina, who has been feeling increasingly frustrated with some of the other contestants, has a heated argument with Toby after he accidentally spills a drink on her favorite shirt. Their argument quickly escalates into a shouting match that catches the attention of the other housemates. Mira accuses Viliam of spreading rumors about her, which he vehemently denies. The argument quickly becomes heated, with Mira and Viliam yelling and trading insults. Alma takes it upon herself to try and bring some positivity back into the house. She suggests organizing a game night, and the other housemates eagerly agree. Tensions between Paulina and Mira continue to simmer. Alek tries to mediate between the two, but his efforts are met with resistance from both sides. The argument finally reaches a boiling point when Paulina accuses Mira of stealing her favorite shirt. Mira, who has had enough of Paulina, explodes and throws the shirt at her. The other housemates quickly separate the two and the argument finally comes to an end. Day 30 Annika, Finn, and Nina are ecstatic to have made it to Day 30 together and they spend the morning reminiscing about their time in the house so far. They reflect on the challenges they've faced and the friendships they've formed, and they talk excitedly about what the future might hold for them. A new argument erupts between Alma and Toby. Alma accuses Toby of being insensitive and disrespectful towards her, which he denies. The argument quickly becomes heated, with both housemates yelling and trading insults. Andre and Zoya are bonding over their shared love of cooking. They spend the day preparing a lavish meal for the rest of the housemates, and everyone is impressed by their culinary skills. Day 31 Sigmund, Radovan, Toby, and Melissa are all feeling particularly stressed out. They sit down together to talk things out and offer each other support. They discuss their experiences in the house and their hopes for the future, and they bond over their shared sense of anxiety about what's to come. Annika, Finn, and Nina spend the day planning a surprise party for the rest of the housemates. They want to lift everyone's spirits and celebrate the fact that they've made it so far in the competition. The party organized by Annika, Finn, and Nina is a huge success, and everyone has a great time dancing, chatting, and laughing. Sigmund, Radovan, Toby, and Melissa take the opportunity to reconnect with some of the other housemates and strengthen their existing friendships. They feel more positive about their situation and are grateful for the opportunity to spend more time with the people they've come to care about. Day 32 Melissa decides to open up to some of the other housemates about her personal life. She talks about being married to her wife, Sarina Gawel, and the two of them having a surrogate daughter named Tazja. The housemates are supportive and interested in hearing more about Melissa's experiences, and they listen attentively as she shares stories about her family. Sigmund also decides to share some news with the group. He tells them that he has been married to his wife, Zofia, for a year now and that they are expecting a baby. The housemates congratulate him warmly and express their excitement for him and his family. Day 33 The housemates wake up to find that Radovan and Viliam had pulled a prank in the middle of the night. They had placed a bunch of plastic insects and spiders all over the house, scaring some of the more easily frightened contestants. Radovan and Viliam laugh and revel in the chaos they caused. Andre and Wobble entertain the other housemates by putting on a funny skit. They use props and costumes to act out a humorous scene, making everyone laugh. Sigmund decides to entertain everyone with some magic tricks he had learned. He performs a few card tricks and illusions, impressing his fellow housemates with his skills. HALF HOUSE: Alek, Melissa and Toby are subjected to living in the Half House for two nights but can opt out and choose somebody to go in their place. Toby chooses to go while Alek chooses Ivan and Melissa chooses Maryna. Day 34 Anny and Joachim continue to stir up drama for the sake of it, causing annoyance among some of the other housemates. Radovan and Viliam continue to cause chaos, with their antics starting to wear thin on some of the other contestants. Zoya opens up about her outside life, sharing some personal stories that make the other housemates feel closer to her. Paulina, on the other hand, causes drama by starting an argument with Alma over something trivial. Sigmund tries to lighten the mood by entertaining the other housemates with his witty sense of humor, making everyone laugh in conversation. Zoya also joins in, cracking jokes and sharing funny stories that make the housemates feel more relaxed. Toby finds the cure in the HALF HOUSE and is told that, once they go back, he'll be cured and will be able to vote as well as now be exempt from going to the HALF HOUSE. Day 35 Ivan, Maryna and Toby return from HALF HOUSE Ivan talks about how much fun he is having since being in the house and that he is so happy he said yes to joining the season. 	Notable Events	Day 43 The housemates decide to have a picnic in the backyard, with each person contributing a dish. Big Brother announces that an apocalypse approaches the house and the only safe place ... is The Bunker. They will all have to get there safely. However, only a few houseguests will be able to make it there safely and that will be decided by a competition! Also, as Mira is immune this week, she automatically is able to head to The Bunker. Anthony, Sophie, Viliam and Wobble complete the challenge and then head into The Bunker. Big Brother tells everybody that one houseguest will be evicted by tomorrow night. However, one more challenge will take place later that night. Melissa, Sigmund and Toby complete the 2nd challenge and then head into The Bunker. Day 44 Day 45 Ander and Joel are evicted. Day 46 Alek, A + J, Paulina and Maryna complete the 3rd challenge and then head into The Bunker. Day 47 Rose is evicted. Day 48 Those in the bunker are allowed to choose three more to save. 	Notable Events	Day 50 Joachim's provocative behavior rubs Ivan the wrong way, leading to a heated exchange of words. Ivan accuses Joachim of seeking attention, while Joachim mocks Ivan's seriousness. A disagreement between Melissa and Viliam escalates into a full-blown argument over a misunderstanding. Melissa accuses Viliam of intentionally sabotaging her efforts, while Viliam dismisses her claims as baseless. HALF HOUSE: Alek, and Melissa are subjected to living in the Half House for two nights but can opt out and choose somebody to go in their place. Melissa chooses to go while Alek chooses Paulina. Mira decides to host a trivia night for the housemates, coming up with challenging questions from various categories. The contestants form teams and compete in a friendly and competitive atmosphere, showcasing their knowledge and having a blast. Day 51 Anny and Joachim's constant pranks and chaos over the past three days push Zoya to her limit. 	Notable Events	Day 57 Alone in the bedroom, Annika says that it is now the Final 16. She knows that she can do it. Only a few more weeks left. Anny and Joachim celebrate making it past Day 56 as that was when Anny, the one who made it further, was evicted in Season 3. It is announced by Big Brother that as Alek and Melissa are still doomed to The Half House, as it turns out, two potential cures have been made. However, one of them will cure them while the other will doom them to an auto nomination for the rest of the season. The two head to The Half House and are told that two bottles are hidden. Alek finds the blue one while Melissa finds the red one. They were told that there were actually four bottles. One did nothing, one cured them and two of them cursed them to auto nomination. However, as luck would have it, the ones they chose contain one curse and one cure. Alek has the cure while Melissa is cursed. Day 58 Paulina says that Season 2 was nuts to her. She remembers going on not knowing what to expect and she became super emotional over everything. People loved her outbursts but she wasn't there for fame. She wanted the experience and she got it, even if she had some iconic moments. Sophie adds that her and Paulina got into so many arguments during Season 2 but they got along fine after the show was done. Big Brother announces another twist: unlike the other seasons, this one contains no Finals Pass. Big Brother announces that three former winners will be returning as this week will be a Boot Camp. Whoever does the best will have immunity for the upcoming eviction. Sigmund and Mira have an enormous fight. Day 59 Day 60 Sigmund and Mira have another enormous fight. Day 61 Alek and Wobble are declared immune from the upcoming eviction. Andre and Joachim have an enormous fight. Day 62 Annika and Andre have an enormous fight. 	Notable Events	Day 64 Sigmund congratulates everybody on making it to the Final 12 as well as Day 64. They all have a toast. Annika is shocked that it is Week 10. Paulina agrees and says that this has been one crazy season. Joachim says that they should go around and say one person who they think was unjustly evicted. He says that he will go first and says Tina. Viliam says Anthony. Paulina says Maryna. Annika says Finn and Nina. Anny says Rose Kepler. Sigmund says Alma. Andre also says Alma. Later, Anny and Joachim are in one of the bedrooms. Joachim says that he doubted that they could make it this far and he is so proud of them. Anny agrees and says that she didn't think they had a chance. In the kitchen, Zoya says to Andre that it was a dream of hers to compete again and, like last time, she is at the Final 12. Andre says that 12 out of 30 is far better than 12 out of 14. Andre says that he sees her making the finale. Day 65 Annika and Zoya are in the kitchen. Annika says that she was not expecting half the twists this season. Zoya says the same. Annika says that she is doing this for her family but it is starting to get difficult for her. Alek and Zoya discuss representing Season 1. Alek says that they are on Day 65 and Season 1 was only 60 days. Alek says that it is clear that the two of them had a lot of fun this season and the only thing he regrets is his argument with Sophie. Day 66 Day 67 During the eviction, Wobble is evicted. Day 68 Big Brother reveals that everybody will now vote for a replacement nominee for the upcoming eviction. Alek becomes the replacement nominee. Annika talks with Zoya saying that she feels as though she has accomplished everything she wanted in the house. She got to participate with her children and she had a lot of fun. She says that she misses her family dearly. Zoya comforts her. Day 69 Day 70 During the eviction, Annika is evicted. Online this week, there was a campaign by some to make sure the winners didn't get to the end. However, while Alek was in the Top 3 of being evicted due to the campaign, many went for Annika, feeling as though she was starting to give up.
