Nicholas was born in 2010 in Fjalnir, Velikoslavia at the Cedar Palace under the care of the court physician and team of midwives. It was announced his god parents were XXX and XX and he was dedicated at the Aldur Monestary near the palace three days after birth per tradition. His grandparents, Constantine, Despot of Morea and Sophia, Despotissa of Morea from his mother's side and Frederica of Silingia from his father's side were all present for his birth. At four weeks old, he was moved to Velinov Palace in the Grand Apartment.

Nicholas was first presented to the public when he was eight months old at a public dedication ceremony which allowed the public to get their first look at the new Tsarevich. His mother took him to Mesogeia soon after where he stayed for three weeks and was presented to his extended family and the Mesogeian people.
