The Laurence Bank is the largest bank in Fichmanistan. The bank was set up in 1932 by Henry Laurence with the funding from his father Ferdinand. Ferdinand Laurence made his fortune owning zinc and coal factories in the Tielo and northern Fichmanistan. The Bank currently has 3 majority shareholders; William Laurence Jr. owns 35%, George Laurence owns 15% and Joseph Laurence owns 10%. Joseph Laurence is currently his 3rd term as an MHP for the conservative party, Joseph's son Henry is currently representing his fathers interests in the company.
Both the demmand for financial services and the price of shares dropped significantly in July 2021 and have yet to recover to pre Black Sunday prices and monthly income.
The bank has five branches in Une Grad, Two in Une Para and Notim and One in every other Capital town in the country. The bank has also in the last year expanded internationally, with wto branches in the Morrawian cities of Králowec and Berno, and one branch in Áṡen, Kalmary, Veligrad Elbennitz, Latinow and Wratislaw
