Bec, officially the Principality of Bec, is a nation in eastern America. It is bordered by Orad to the north, Zela to the east, and Cuba to the south. It has a coast with James Bay to the west and the Hud Sea to the northwest.

Bec is ranked high for civil liberties and political freedom. Bec has very low levels of government involvement in the general population and the monarch is essentially a patriotic and unifying figure with no power in the government. There are no restrictions on political freedom whatsoever and there has been no imbalance of power.

Bec is a very wealthy nation that produces many luxury goods and is a major business centre for the world. Several space and submarine technology firms are headquartered in Bec which have contributed to the advancement of eastern America. Bec also has a small but strong market of ancient shipbuilding and sailing for entertainment.

Etymology

Bec is derived from an old Algonkin word meaning strait, which referred to the Canda Passage. The original word was Quebec, and began as a city, then territory of France and province of Canada.
