Robert Alexander Veladrys (born 19 May 1984) is an Aquitaynian politician serving as First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs since 18 June of 2019. A member of the Royalist Party, he has also been a Member of Parliament (MP) since for Granby since Aquitaynian General Election, 2014.
Robert was born in Helm and attended St Michael's Prepatory Academy before studying for his MBA at Kiernan College. Robert began his career at a human rights organisation working with the Lorecian Community in bringing aid and education to Caranad in the early 2000s. From 2009 to 20013, Robert worked as the Chief of Staff to then Prime Minister James Zaier. He resigned that position in late 2013 to run for office in the 292nd District in the 2014 election. Not long after his election, Robert was appointed to the Select Committee on Intelligence. From there, Robert also became a member of the Judiciary Committee before becoming Chairman of the Armed Services Committee in 2018.
After Prime Minister Zaier announced his resignation , Robert began garnering support for a party run at the Prime Minister's office, believing the party wanted a younger representative in leadership. He was beaten in the second round of ballots to Richard Larrow, who appointed him Foreign Secretary.
