The Imperial Sea Legion is the official navy for the Hellenic Empire and part of the Hellenic Armed Forces. The Sea Legion was formed in 1836 from the remnants of the Grand Fleet by Hadrian I. Its primary mission is protection of territorial waters and maritime infrastructure as well as sea lines of communication. Apart from this, the Navy participates in peacekeeping operations, and renders humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. They also participate in Anti-Piracy operations.
