After plans to host the contest, SMBS released an official Host Bid for Saint Monkey. The bid was for the contest to be hosted in Light City, and saw the theme being "The Power Of Music" celebrating the cities and the whole regions EDM and Lightning Culture. SMBS collaborated with Label [[Monsterdog Saint Monkey]] to produce the host bid, and to provide the arena, the [[Monsterdog Unleahed Arena]]. It faced against a Host Bid by Beepee, which would've saw the contest been hosted in Chiton, Beepee. The vote was won by Saint Monkey, winning by just 2 points. The contest was taking place at 21:00 UTC-10, meaning WorldVision Committee nations such as Malta Comino Gozo and Waisnor would have to watch the contest in the following morning.
The national final selected Maria Camia and Roberta Carma to participate in the first hosting by Saint Monkey itself, with the {{wp|Nu-disco|Indie Dance/Nu Disco}} song "On Our Planet". This was a Monsterdog Saint Monkey song, as the label wanted to enter a song for the contest it was helping organise. They asked Maria to bring back a song that wasn't going to be released after the production broke up, which was 5 years ago. W.A.V.E, who produced the song alongside Maria, and Maria herself agreed and Monsterdog helped them produce the song, by offering them their equipment, and eventually they were able to complete the song. It was about all of life's stories. "Whether it be love, death or life, there's always a story happening on this planet," explained Roberta Carma in an interview for Channel Monkey (a Saint Monkeyian broadcaster), "We want to share that using music, and hopefully get people to reach a deep connection with this song." It clocked up nearly 10M views on the WorldVision YouTube Channel and clocked up 1.3M on the Monsterdog Saint Monkey channel, making it the 5th most viewed video on this channel, as of 16th April 2024.
The song finished 12th with 119 points, making it Saint Monkey's 2nd best result, out of 3. Although there was a lot of effort put into the staging of the performance, the niche genre made it finish where it did. SMBS however, have stated that they're looking to bring songs that the Saint Monkeyian public wants, rather than the mainstream songs many others do.

Saint Monkey has participated in the WorldVision Song Contest 2 times as of the 111th WorldVision Song Contest being held in Akjefuldin, Aenglide. SMBS announced they would be representing Saint Monkey for the first time in the WorldVision Song Contest. Immortal accepted and SMBS and Immortal agreed that they will do something out of their comfort zone; Doo-Wop. Saint Monkey finished 21st out of 29 nations. This was a bit disappointing but the SMBS knew that they were taking a risk with the song they were choosing. SMBS said after the contest that they were "Extremely pleased with the quality of the contest and viewing figures." They also stated that "We don't want to do anything too cliche. Instead, we need to focus on how to make a variety of unique songs with different genres."
SM1 (Saint Monkey 1), another broadcaster in Saint Monkey, was the first to broadcasting it, doing it via the Malta Comino Gozo Broadcasting Corporation, in WV100, celebrating the 100th edition, Saint Monkey were allowed to have a special broadcast of it, and 2.1 million people watched the Grand Final. This made SMBS gain interest in the International Broadcasting Alliance and be open to participate in future contests. SMBS applied for a full membership for the IBA in 2023, wanting to improve broadcaster relationships and get known more. In their first participation, WV111 got 8.7 Million views, and in WV112, it got 9.1 Million views here in Saint Monkey.

However, with the band being so famous for it's rock and pop, it's a strange move that some fans will disagree with. However the band said this song is a true meaning of Friendship.

SMBS said after the contest that they were "Extremely pleased with the quality of the contest and viewing figures." They also stated that "We don't want to do anything too cliche. Instead, we need to focus on how to make a variety of unique songs with different genres. As long as the public are happy and choose who they want, we are sure this will be a massive success." They also mentioned a target for Saint Monkey in the coming years. If they do not finish in the top 5 by WV120, they will begin to do the contest a bit less often.
