Lyrics

weRwizi Gaullican Estmerish
First Stanza

Pasi pemureza wenyika yedu
Uye padyo nerwizi rukuru
Tinotarisa kumambakwedza
Senyika yakasununguka!

Sous le drapeau de notre propre pays
Et le long du grand fleuve
Nous regardons vers une nouvelle aube
En tant que nation libre!

Under the flag of our land
And along the Great River
We look towards a new dawn
As a free nation!

Second Stanza

Tichadzivirira nyika yedu
Kubva pamipendero yehondo
Mwari vatikomborere
Uye chengetedza nyika yedu!

Nous défendrons notre pays
De la guerre et des conflits
Que le Seigneur tout puissant nous bénisse
Et protégez notre nation!

We shall defend our country
From the shafts of war
May God bless us
And protect our nation!
