On 21 December 2019 the Provincial Convention of Foxomexra voted in favour of the resolution, an action repeated by the General Assembly on 30 December 2019. The resolution was then signed by President Wilson Harrison and on 22 January 2020 the first federal forces were dispatched to work with the Hereali government to suppress the insurrection.
After the insurrection began nearing its second year, the Hereali government requested federal intervention.
