Alexander Lodbrok (Alexander Brennan of House Lodbrok; born 12th May 1981) is the current head of House Lodbrok
Alexander was born in 1981 in Dyflin, to Finnlaith Lodbrok and Sylvia Melrose. He studied at Malvern Hill Primary School and Frija's Harp Secondary School state institutions. Upon graduating school in 1999 he took up a vocational course in dairy farming, before returning to take over the family farm at Cadalcholg, home of the popular Lodbrok Cholg cheese.
Family
House Lodbrok can trace its ancestry back to the Ragnvald of Lodbrok, a chieftain of the Vikingr who settled the island of Dyflin in the 8th Century AD. Throughout history, the Lodbroks have been prominent in the politics of Dyflin, providing several monarchs and other political figures. It was a Lodbrok, King Ua Neill of Lodbrok, who surrendered to the Saxons of Brytene in the spring of 1304AD and married Princess Brenna, binding the two monarchies together and bringing Dyflin into the Confederacy of Brytene.
Early Life
Alexander was born on the 12th May 1981 to Finnlaith Lodbrok and Sylvia Melrose at 09.53 am. He weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces. As the oldest son of Finnlaith Lodbrok and Sylvia Melrose, he was heir to the primary line of House Lodbrok.
Just before Alexander's 18th birthday, his father died of a massive coronary brought on by a surfeit of bacon. His mother died seven years later, in a traffic accident.
Alexander took up a vocational course at the Sianmarsh Agricultural College, studying for an apprenticeship in Cattle Farming.
Career
At the age of 20, Alexander completed his studies and returned to work full-time at Cadalcholg. He not only runs the daily farm, but is the face of its marketing campaign. Under his leadership, the business has stabilised and begun to turn a profit, employing more than ninety staff at two locations. Lodbrok Cholg cheese can now be found in high-end supermarkets across the nation.
He is also an outspoken member of the Green Party and promotes sustainability and renewable energy.
Personal life
Alexander is married to Holly Lodbrok (née White), but as yet has no children. His younger sister, Aoife Brighteye, is Jarl of Dyflin.
