Nevesia, officially the Republic of Nevesia, was a sovereign state in Thuadia located in Anteria. It was located in the southwesternmost portion of what is today modern Gabrielland and bordered Gabrielland, Mustleteria, and Prei Meas when it existed. It became a republic shortly after the incorporation of the Gabrielt confederation into the new country of Gabrielland in 1927 when it refused to join the new country. It was a unitary multi-party democracy for most of its existence, with interruptions of military rule between 1950-1958 and 1974-1983. The country would join Gabrielland in 2017 after a public referendum in the year prior.

Nevesian delegates in the 1927 signing of the articles of statehood refused the provisions agreed upon by the other delegates. The Kingdom of Nevesia continued to exist whilst the Gabrielt Confederation was dissolved into Gabrielland. In 1931, republicans managed to stage a coup d'etat against the prime minister and overthrow the monarchy. A multi-party democracy was established in Nevesia, and the first presidential elections were held in 1932. Mužam Arigali, leader of the republicans, would serve as the country's first president from 1931 until his death in 1944. During the early days of the republic, republicans emphasized on a Nevesian identity which bolstered support against an eventual union with Gabrielland. The unstable development in the country's politics led to two military coups and rule, one in 1950, and the second in 1974. During the Gabrielt civil war, it remained as a neutral party.

Situated on the foothills of the Garayi Mountains, Nevesia's economy relied mostly on agriculture and other raw-material extraction such as iron, coal, and small-time gold mining in the southern provinces near the border with Prei Meas. Although initially having a higher GDP per capita than Gabrielland, it was outpaced by Gabrielt economic development sometime around the 1980s after the civil war, and the economy has stagnated, with decreasing industrial output due to a more volatile political climate in the 1990s. The country is also rife with corruption, and in 2007, 15% of the country's entire GDP was embezzled by the country's prime minister and his political allies, causing a massive scandal which led to the resigning of his cabinet, prompting massive unification parties and supporters to spring up. Upon unification with Gabrielland, Nevesia had one of the lowest GDP per capita in Thuadia, and had one of the lowest HDI rankings in the entire continent. All Gabrielt provinces at that period had higher standards of living than Nevesia.

The Nevesians are a Gabrielt people descendant from the original Gabrielts which settled the area. The Nevesian language serves as a lingua franca for the region although it itself is only spoken by a minority as a native langauge. The former territory of Nevesia comprises the majority of the western Gabrielt branch of the Gabrielt language family. Nevesian history prior to the formation of the republic shares a lot in common with that of other regions in its area.
