S.G. Entertainment (Anikatian: SG엔터테인먼트, SG Enteoteinmeonteu; SG stands for Star Gallery) is a Anikatia entertainment company, founded by Si Yeon Woo. The company operates a record label, talent agency, travel agency, film production company, music production company, event management and concert production firm as well as a music publishing house. A prominent entertainment company in Anikatia, the label is one of the three biggest record labels in the A-pop industry, alongside YM Media Group and DSQ Entertainment.
Once the home to the original Anikatian idol groups like KULO, and Makoseuh the label itself is home to a roster of prominent A-pop recording artists that include X-Electric, U-Zero and Girls' Galaxy, where all have achieved domestic and international success.
History
After graduating from university and pursuing his own career as a singer, Si Yeon Woo surveyed teenage girls on what they wanted to see in music groups and started the boy group KULO and managed girl group Makoseuh. Both groups became successful during the early 2000s.
The agency later found new successes with many other acts. SG Entertainment debuted a nine member girl group Girls' Galaxy in 2007, another five-member boy group X-Electric in 2008, five-member girl group U-Zero in 2009.
