The Citizens Republic of Hétumoger, known simply as the Citizens Republic was a de facto independent state that co-existed with the Third Noble Republic of Hétumoger. The Citizens Republic declared its independence during the onset of the Citizenry Uprising and started as a self-governing region in Kisigmánd that eventually grew to include Oroszlány, Vámosoroszi, Rácmecske and parts of Hegyhát and Sió. The Citizens Republic declared its independence in 1927, and fully achieved self-governing status in 1929 at the end of the Uprising. The Citizens Republic was regarded as a contiguous part of the Third Noble Republic and was never fully recognized.
