Dòrnach, officially the Kingdom of Dòrnach (Dòrnachai Gaelic: Rìoghachd na Dòrnach), is a Kingdom of Ossoria located in the western portion of the Ossorian Archipelago.

Geography

Dòrnach occupies the entirety of the Long Island (Ossorian Gaelic: Oileán Fada; Dòrnachai Gaelic: Eilean Fada), located in the west of the Ossorian Archipelago, as well as a number of nearby islands. This location means that the kingdom shares a maritime border with the the Kingdom of Kenlis and the Kingdom of Rocelyn to the east, and the Kingdom of Lodainn to the west.

The geography of their island consists primarily of a series of low mountain ranges running the length of the island lowlands, with vast tracts of moorland and mineral deposits.

Demographics

The 2010 census reported the population of Dòrnach at 18,428,204, making the kingdom the third-most populated in the Realm. The largest city in Dòrnach is the city of Sràid, which is also the capital of the kingdom. The next-largest cities are Lanark and Narann.

Economy

The kingdom's economy is primarily driven by the mining and agricultural sectors. Livestock, poultry and dairy products are important agricultural products grown in the kingdom. The island's mountains contain a variety of mineral deposits, with coal mining having been a historically vital industry. The cities of Lanark and Narann are the main industrial and transshipping centers for the kingdom.

The kingdom is divided into 12 Duchies, of which 3 are Grand Duchies whose borders represent the traditional regions of the kingdom. These are sub-divided into 49 Counties, and finally into 94 Viscounties and Baronies.
