The Kokan Rifle or Type 29 Bolt Rifle is a bolt rifle designed by and primarily utilised by the Imperial Nakabean Ground Forces, and issued to most Nakabean ashigaru as their primary service rifle. Its ubiquity in Nakabean space has also meant that it has been issued to grenzer units in the Kanata Barrage, and even some units of the Imperial & Federal Common Army based in Nakabean space. Firing a 7.7 mm Hora bolt, the Kokan Type 29 has been in use for nearly fifty years, and is still in mass production. The Kokan Type 29 is longer and thinner than comparable bolt rifles, designed to be more similar to a pole weapon for use by Nakabean ashigaru in close combat.
