| === 2 BC-120 AD: Formation ===

| In around 2 BC the city of Vrelin's leader, Rolf Tatlkervor, declared himself the King of Vrelia. Not many people took it very seriously, as not much changed about the way of life in Vrelin. People commonly migrated across the Faloplin Peninsula to get away from the rules of Vrelin. But things in Vrelin did eventually change, King Rolf raised a military and large walls around the city. The walls are now known as the Inner City of Vrelin as the city kept expanding and adding new walls. As Vrelin expanded, in 84 AD Rolf Tatlkervor II offered farmers free housing in the Outer City if they gave 20% of their harvest to the government. Hundreds accepted the deal and it even caused some of the Vrelians across the Faloplin Peninsula to come back to Vrelin. The Vrelian Kingdom had become a major power in southwest Thrismari, and only continued to prosper into the second century.

| Rolf Tatlkervor III proposed the idea of an election in 121 and the first royal election took place in 144 after Rofl Tatlkervor III died without an heir. Respecting his dying wish an election was held and won by Luca Aukinet, who died before he could be coronated so his daughter, Anica Aukinet, claimed that the throne was hers and took it. Many historians speculate that Anica killed her father to take the throne so she could become the first female leader in Vrelian and later Faloplin history. Because her first order as Queen of Vrelia was to remove the law preventing women from taking the throne. She removed several other laws that limited women in any way, voting, jobs, education, etc. Her next decree was to create a royal advisory board, a basic version of the idea that created the parliament later. in 201 Anica Aukinet died. The way of Faloplin democracy with a royal advisory body continued until 344 when Orell Lohner took the throne and removed the democratic system.

| In 345 Orell Lohner declared himself the Caisarch of the Vrelian Empire and took total control of the whole country. He raised a massive army and went on a conquest, taking over the rest of the Faloplin Peninsula brutally supressing any resistance from the native Faloplins. Once the Faloplin conquest finished in 351, Orell turned his eyes across the Silurian Peninsula. Orell Lohner died in battle in southern Fallooplesburg, his son Orell Lohner II took control and by 452 the Vrelian Empire had completed it's conquest.

| Many historians attribute the fall of the Vrelian Empire to lack of money and control. Vrelia had no money after going on so many conquests that it couldn't afford to pay it's military, so it started minting alot more money, which caused mass hyperinflation. The Vrelian military at this point was still very large and many of them just let the rioters ransack places as long as they got a share of the loot. And all across the Vrelian Empire especially in modern Riamo and Fallooplesburg. Riots, corruption, and insane prices became daily occurences in the early 8th century. Rioting turned into revolution as 8 rich Faloplin families organized their own militaries and marched on Vrelin, in 842 the last Caisarch died without an heir. And each of the families claimed a piece of Fallooplesburg.

| === 843-1021: The Dark Age ===

| After the fall of the Vrelian empirem during the mid-800s the richest, most powerful families in what would become Fallooplesburg herded their local citizens together and created several small monarchies known as Zæntoms (the Faloplin word for city-state) to try and take advantage of the political instability. The Families were the Mairels, Ailmirs, Steigers, Jevines, Ledods, Aegirs, Orins, and Annecis. They each had their own small state and would trade and fight occasionally. In the early 900s the Jevines declared war on the Orins and after a couple of years of warfare annexed them, the Orins were banished and they fled to Ailmir territory. In the late 900s Anneci territory was becoming increasingly unstable, peasants were unhappy with the Anneci family in their territory and attempted a coup. The family was able to flee and seeming disappeared for a few years until they were found reporting the discovery of Deln upon which they founded the city of Dufarstiato, which later became the capital of Fallooplesburg and is still the largest city in Fallooplesburg. The Steigers later invaded the Anneci's land a few months after they left and the citizens failed to make a new leader.

| In the early 1000s, The idea of Fallooplesburg being divided into Zæntoms was becoming increasingly unpopular with everyone from the poorest peasants to even most leaders of the Zæntoms saying that Fallooplesburg should be united. And so mass conquering commenced and war raged on in Fallooplesburg for a couple of decades until it was decided to create the house system. Each of the families were delegated a piece of land, except for the Orins and Annecis. The only problem was they didn't know how to decide who gets to lead, after months of arguing they finally agreed upon constitutional monarchy, and so it's been since 1021.

| Falooplesburg now a united state saw prosperity going into the late 11th century. More trade and a stronger federal government led Fallooplesburg. Fallooplesburg during this time had a large christian base, alot of people left Vrelia to be able to practice their faith in peace and now in Fallooplesburg a large amount of the population followed christianity.

| In 1094 a man named Clemens Stöcker appeared in Dufarstiato, he began preaching a religion known as Usklontin the pagan religion from before the days of the Vrelian Empire. A few people started following him and his word spread around the country. After awhile of Clemens gaining popularity and followers, the government decided to kick him and his followers in Dufarstiato out. He made it all the way out to Athbet, the capital of House Mairel. in 1096 he married Isabel von Mairel and became Clemens von Mairel. In 1097 he won the election and took the crown in 1105. His first act as king was to rename Athbet to Clemency.

| With Clemens on the throne this began his Usklontinization of Fallooplesburg. The basic premise of Usklontin is that everyone has a purpose and you keep getting reincarnated until you achieve your purpose where once you do you'll go to the Usklontin equivalent of heaven. This lead to a lot of things becoming legalized and illegalized in Fallooplesburg slavery was outlawed and same-sex marriage was legalized. Author and artists that impressed Clemens got extra publicity leading to some of the most famous and best works of art and literature in Fallooplesburg. Before Clemens died in 1153 he started writing up an idea for a Parliament the idea was written on the basis that one person couldn't lead on their own, written by Anica Aukinet hundreds of years earlier. Even over 850 years after Clemens' death his policies remain in place even though Usklontin has fallen into a minor religion in the country as Christianity still holds strong.

| The Faloplin monarch after Clemens, Queen Michelle von Ailmir, took this idea and established the Parliament. A body of 650 Cenihenkins, that is an advisory body to the monarch, a legislature, and if necessary an emergency monarch. The Parliament was made up of hereditary representatives from regions in Fallooplesburg. This goes on for a couple of centuries where monarchs promote individuality and the arts until Jacinto von Steiger decides that isolation is the best way to grow.

| === 1400-1734: The Isolation ===

| Right at the start of 1400 the current monarch, Jacinto von Steiger. Closed down the country, leaving open the cities of Odessa, Vrelin, and Dufarstatio for trade. Dufarstiato was then made the capital instead of Vrelin. With his new capital, Jacinto ordered the building of new government buildings. First he built the Dufarcenihaut for the Parliament and then he built the Dufarcaistle or the Great Palace for the monarchy.

| Shortly after that the [[Faloplin Constitution]] was put into place. Which dictated new branches of government, and the way that the education system should be layed out. These new government branches were tasked with various things, such as discovery of new lands and mapping them, discovery and documentation of flora and fauna in Fallooplesburg, managing the army, overseeing countrywide farming, etc. And these branches have only been extended upon since their creation.

| The limited trade system meant that all news from the outside world came from the port cities. In 1508 Jacinto von Steiger III announced that a new island to be named Pahuwispind has been discovered to the northeast, and newer small islands to the northwest. The map of Fallooplesburg got significant updates as new lands were discovered and the edges of the Sjert Sea were mapped.

| This isolation was a 300 year period of Faloplin history that promoted several new Faloplin discoveries. Science, art, mathematics, politics, and even the Faloplin language saw great changes, in the 17th century the way verbs were conjugated changed drastically setting in place the modern Faloplin spoken in Fallooplesburg today.

| === 1735-1904: The Industrial Age ===

| Around 1735 Fallooplesburgian trade started to really pick up, they were getting alot more goods at a greater speed. When people working in the ports asked how the traders told them about the factories. Fallooplesburg built it's first factory in 1740 and the amount of factories greatly increased in southwest Fallooplesburg. By 1780 the Isolation was lifted to open up all Faloplin ports.

| The Faloplin economy was booming, all healthy people from 11-64 probably had jobs. The textile, book, and food industries led Fallooplesburg. But working conditions were poor very poor. And some Faloplins became worried about the Factories' effect on the environment. Poor working conditions led to the start of Labor Unions in Fallooplesburg but they couldn't cover the majority of the Faloplin population.

| And eventually the Majority of the population was fed up with their poor working conditions and decided to revolt in 1794. In 1795 when the war was over several new laws were put in place protecting workers and making all factories comply with Faloplin working standards. On May 5th, 1794 a coordinated strike happened against the factories. The majority of workers refused to work until their demands were met. The economy took a significant hit. Workers, during the several months they were on strike, would openly protest in the streets or convince as many of their friends as they could to join them on strike. By January 17th of 1795, 60% of the working population were on strike. After that they sent their demands to the Monarch and Parliament.

| Since there were new laws that protecting children from work in factories for how dangerous they were, the Food industry rose back up the the top. As the majority of children went back to helping out on their family's farm. The 19th century was fairly uneventful. There was a slew of new inventions to assist in factories and with industrialization such as Liam Moor inventing the first power plant and creating the Moor Electric Company in 1854.

| At the turn of the century in 1900, Ryan von Ledod was coronated. Shortly into his reign he declared himself the Caisarch of the Second Vrelian Empire, taking all industry under state control and dismissing the Parliament. If you look at any graph having to do with the economy of Fallooplesburg you can see the scar that this move made.

| === 1905-1944: The Depression ===

| In 1905 Ryan von Ledod forcefully took all buisnesses under state control. The Faloplin government was also now responsible for paying the whole country's wages. So, the next year the tax brackets went from 10%, 20%, and 30% to 30%, 40%, and 50%. Wages were also cut drastically. Minimum wage went from 4.55 Faloplin Sheckles (around 7 modern ACU)to 1.30 FPS (2 modern ACU). This caused large-scale riots and strikes nationwide and the minmum wage was raised to 3.25 FPS (5 ACU).

| The government couldn't keep up with paying the whole working population and began mass producing notes while recalling coins. The Faloplin Sheckle began to inflate wildly and the shops had to raise prices. With almost no money circulating and a hyperinflated currency, the unemployment rate shot up to 25% and by 1920 the Faloplin Depression was in full swing. In the early 20s the de facto currency was food. Bakers would give out bread for whatever good that baker needed. Everyone who knew how to make bread became a baker and started selling food. With the Sheckle practically worthless it was phased out of use by most shops by the 30s.

| On 12 August, 1933 the First Faloplin Civil War began when workers stormed the military base of Hres. The Raid of Hres, as it came to be known, killed thousands of civilians and hundreds of soldiers who were just trying to protect themselves as the increasing aggresive crowd grew at their door. By the end of the raid the civilians had secured Hres and 5 surrounding military bases and all the equipment in them, forming the [[Royal Militia]]. The Royal Militia had a little under half the adult population join it's ranks while some children worked as spies. Because of it's high member count, people were pulled aside on the street and beaten to death under suspicion they were Royal Militia. They were awaken in the middle of the night and killed in their own homes.

| The war claimed around a million lives with the largest battles being in Clemency, Vrelin, the fields outside Garaeng, and the largest taking place in Dufarstatio. 5 million people were killed by Ryan von Ledod's Regime. With the economic decline and mass violence this time really earned the name depression. In 1939 the Battle of Dufarstatio took place and 500,000 Royal Militia and Imperial Soldiers were killed in the fighting, nearly half of the military deaths in the whole war. The battle ended when Ryan von Ledod was killed during the storming of the Dufarcaistle.

| In 1940 Raymond von Ailmir was elected and reinstated capitalism by selling off most of the buisnesses back to their previous owners, if they were alive. The Faloplin Sheckle was so worthless that Fallooplesburg had to create an entirely new currency, the Verre in 1941. Raymond von Ailmir supported the shift to the Verre by giving businesses who used it tax relief. He also pioneered the created of a national identity card to streamline employment, payment, and taxes. By 1944 Fallooplesburg was on track to recover but it would take decades to be truly stable.

| ===1945-2005: The Nuclear Age ===

| In 1945 the Moor Electric Company announced it's first nuclear reactor. At first it was there as more of a publicity stunt, it wasn't thought that it would add any more power then any other power plant. But after the first few years, the nuclear reactor was performing very well. So the at the time CEO, Nika Moor, ordered the construction of several new nuclear plants across the country. Once they opened the Moor Electric Company shuttered several of their coal and oil plants and sold the materials abroad.

| The Faloplin Government noticed how efficient the Nuclear Reactors were and began commissioning the Moor Electric Company for designs that incorporate Nuclear Power, in the 1960s. None of them saw production, as they always had a glaring issue that made it impractical but that didn't stop the experimentation with Nuclear Power as a whole though. While the Faloplin Government was creating new vehicles for it's military. The MEC began investing in new Power Plant designs.

| During the 70s the MEC began building reactors with several new radioactive elements, and even some attempted synthetic elements. Plutonium was the only that seemed to be as useful as Uranium. At this time the MEC was bought by the Faloplin Government as it was the main provider of a community resource. Reports say that the Faloplin Government needed copies of the test results and many theorize that it was for the failed WMD Program that was defunded a few years later.

| In the 90s, Thorium, a new radioactive element, was discovered in Fallooplesburg. And testing with it begun in 2002 and is continuing to this day.

| === 2006-2021: The Modern Age ===

| Fallooplesburg in the 2000s saw it being much more open diplomatically, it's long isolated history led it to need new trading and defensive partners. In November 2006 Fallooplesburg became a member of the [[Thrismari Union]]. The Faloplin Army's weapons saw significant updates, although the vehicles became outdated as most of the Vehicles are from the 60s or 70s. The MEC created new Thorium reactors in the major Faloplin cities. And Fallooplesburg joined the [[South Anterian Defense Alliance]] shortly before the Second Faloplin Civil War took place in 2020.

| The Second Faloplin Civil War was started when the winning candidate of the September 2020 election, Lionel von Jevine. Murdered the incumbent King Noah von Ailmir to claim the throne. Which launched the Jevine Pact consisting of Houses Jevine, Ledod, and Aegir into war with the Coalition of Fallooplesburg consisting of Houses Mairel, Ailmir, and Steiger. After several months of warfare the Third Faloplin Civil War came to a close.

| This resulted in the execution of the Jevine family and the exile of the Ledod and Aegir families. And the reinstation of House Orin and House Anneci. As well as Erika von Mairel taking the throne in December of 2020 as the runner-up in the September 2020 election.

| Fallooplesburg is defined by it's agricultural economic center, with the largest farming town being Odessa. The major trade goods include: wine, cheese, milk, and old firearm models. The major trade centers are Dufarstiato, Odessa, and Vrelin because of their large ports. Fallooplesburg uses a mixed economy system, where as there are many private-owned businesses there's a lot of state-controlled like the Bank of Fallooplesburg, which is the only bank in Fallooplesburg. The central currency of Fallooplesburg, Verres, is worth 0.86 ACU. Wealth in Fallooplesburg is fairly evenly distributed with the poorest 10% making about 22,000 ACU and the richest 10% making about 42,000 ACU. Wealth is generally respected and poverty has been rising in the past few months. Although the poverty level is going down due to the economic reforms being put in place. Counterfeiting is almost non-existent because of how hard it is to counterfeit Verres.

| The government of Fallooplesburg is mostly in the power of the Monarchy, although the Parliament gets to make decisions the monarch can always overrule the Parliaments decision. For example if the Parliament decides a criminal should be put on death row the Monarchy can overrule and send the criminal to jail although this is uncommon. The Monarchy is above the Nobility, which is made up of Cenihenkins (Members of Parliament) and other members of royal houses which have their own leaders

| The monarchy does have several buisnesses and services under its control. These are typically services that affect vast amounts of the population, such as the schools and bank. There are also some farms owned by the Faloplin monarchy to help feed the country in times of crisis. The monarch and the parliament are able to levy taxes to pay for new government plans. People can fall into one of 5 tax brackets, 12%, 17%, 22%, 27%, 32%. And government officials have salaries paid by taxes.

| === The Nobility ===

| The Nobility is made up of elected Cenihenkins and hereditary House Members. There are five different noble houses in Fallooplesburg that each own a bit of land, and can propose candidates for elections. Nobility can get elected into the Monarchy when the incumbent Monarch turns 40 an election will ensue to remove the threat of no Monarch on the throne for the months it'd take to elect and coronate one.

| Each house acts as a party, but their political views aren't always consistent. The houses have been around for 1,000 years, and in 2021 they have 70-90 members each and it's theorized to only grow. Each house has a hereditary head that more or less represents it, houses have some authority in their own land to make laws and decisions but just like the parliament their decisions can be overruled by the monarch.

| === The Legal System ===

| There are 3 courts in Falloopleburg, the first one is the Niedstrichts which handle civil cases. There are hundreds of Niedstrichts courts around the country that rule on everything from property, to money, to injuries. If the case is believed to be criminal, or the Niedstrichts just don't think they can rule on it. Most cases don't even make it to the courts and disputes are settled by private companies.

| The second court is the Kestestrichts, who rule on criminal cases. There's only a few Kestestricht courts per state. There are no private options for the Kestestricht level as they deal with serious crimes such as murder and theft. Throughout the whole legal system, but especially in the Kestestricht and Föctstricht level, the innocent until proven guilty mindset is required and important. Anyone who is in the Kestestricht level or higher get free legal advice from lawyers, although people are able to higher their own lawyers to represent them.

| Only serious criminal cases are brought in front of the Föctstrichts or the Supreme Judges. The Föctstrichts are the best judges in Fallooplesburg and bring justice to the greatest criminals in Fallooplesburg the Kestestrichts deals with thefts and murder but the Föctstrichts deal with war criminals, tax related crimes, serial killers, terrorists, or anything the Kestestrichts believe is above their ruling. Parliament also gets a say on some cases that they deem important.

| Fallooplesburg is very densely wooded and is mostly flat forest terrain. There are a few Mountains down in the south that have kept out invaders in Fallooplesburg's early history. Fallooplesburg covers an area of 544,288 sq km or 210,151 sq mi, including Fallooplesburg's larger island holdings. The Sjert Sea is the largest body of water in Fallooplesburg, it's connected to the ocean through the Lamtur River.

| The most fertile farmland is in the east of Fallooplesburg, and it makes up about 70% of all farmland in Fallooplesburg. There are several mineral deposits in the northwest consisting of uranium, iron, and copper. It's theorized there's still more uranium deposits around Fallooplesburg undiscovered but if all the uranium deposits were to dry up it could be disastrous for Fallooplesburg.

Being in the southern hemisphere winter is June to August and also the coldest time of year in Fallooplesburg. During the winter it's common for the west to be covered in snow. | Faloplin and Vrelian culture makes up the largest and most populated part of Fallooplesburg.

| === Entertainment ===

| Faloplin entertainment mainly consists of movies. The country releases thousands of movies every year and according to large movie streaming platforms, Faloplins have consumed on average 40-50 movies a year. Plays are somewhat common in Fallooplesburg and many richer Faloplins like to watch the opera. The book industry in Fallooplesburg is also fairly large but no where close to the spot movies hold in Fallooplesburg.

| Actors and artists are considered to be high class and respected among Faloplins. They're supported alot by the nobility and richer Faloplins. The most famous permanent theatre is in Dufarstiato called the Föctteatrhaut, it's considered a high honor to be able to perform there and it's almost constantly booked with shows because of its sheer popularity. The Föctteatrhaut is the only state-owned and run theatre in Fallooplesburg and makes a good bit of money for the government. In Fallooplesburg the most popular sports are soccer and hockey. The country's hockey team the Faloplin Geese played in AWCH 2021. And the country's soccer league has maintained popularity since it was founded in 1925, and has one a few world cups. Winning the men's cup in 1936 and 1966 and the women's cup in 1996<ref>[[List of IFA World Cup Winners|IFA World Cup Winners]]</ref>

| Vrelian Architecture follows a gothic style with alot of pillars. Examples of this are the Vrelian Senate Building, and the Dufarstatio Parliament House. Faloplin Architecture is very city based, as the most of Fallooplesburg was created to hold lots of people, singular houses and suburbs are rare and considered very upper class. Many Faloplins especially in cities live in large apartment builds and townhouses, that are specifically built to hold lots of people.

| The most common building materials in Faloplin cities are bricks, wood, and cement, as they're easy to collect and build with. Most Faloplin buildings are 2-3 stories tall. They are typically square or rectangular and packed tightly together. Common Vrelian materials are limestone and marble ornaments, they're commonly domed or more circular than Faloplin buildings.

| Faloplins start their days by waking up at about 4:00 AM. Breakfast is uncommon for Faloplin adults, children are encouraged to eat something to facilitate growth. With Fallooplesburg's large agricultural sector the most common breakfast is eggs. After that at around 5:30 - 6:00 AM is when schools and workplaces open, the most common jobs are in the entertainment industry and argiculture. Adults will work and children will go to school until 12 PM, where they will go and eat lunch which is usually the largest meal generally consisting of roasted or fried chicken paired with corn and potatoes. After about another hour and a half of sleep, most adults will go back to work at around 2:30 PM and get off at around 5:00 or 6:00 PM. After that most Faloplins watch movies, play video games, and read books. Where they then go back to sleep at around 11:00 PM or midnight.

| Chicken is one of the most if not the most popular food in Fallooplesburg. Lots of chicken are raised and exported in Fallooplesburg because of how many different ways they can be cooked and how many different things they can be paired with. Faloplins also enjoy eggs and cheese alot. Vegetables and grains are common because of the vast farms of Fallooplesburg.

It's a mainly Germanic language with Nordic influence from neighbors, as well as some slavic and polynesian influences from colonies and trade partners. Modern Faloplin has been in use since the late 17th century during Fallooplesburg's isolation, when the way verbs were conjugated majorly shifted from Old Faloplin. German and English are also commonly spoken, English especially on Clement Island and German especially in Vrelia.

| Because of it's large Christian base Easter and Christmas are celebrated annually in Fallooplesburg. Fallooplesburg day is celebrated every April 28th, which celebrates the day that Fallooplesburg formed as a country and established its elective monarchy system. There's also the very highly celebrated Irgtintait or Harvest Day. Stores and farms will usually discount special autumn produce for the week before Irgtintait to make it easier for families to cook meals for the holiday. It's to celebrate Fallooplesburg's large argiculture sector.
