The Path of Democracy (Shangean: 民主思路; Mínzhǔ sīlù) was a political party in Shangea that existed from 2015 to 2017 when it was banned by the Shangean government during Normalisation

The Alliance was formed by students led by Chen Qianshi and Kang Yongqing, two student leaders, as a radical democratic party that wanted to remove the ruling Society for Restoring Benevolence from power and create a democratic Shangea that served the people. The Path called for constitutional reform, direct democracy, environmentalism, a welfare state and supported nativist sentiments. It also supported degrowth and alter-globalisation. Most political scientists called the party anti-establishment and populist in its approach.

The Path was part of the Democratic Action Alliance coalition in the 2017 Shangean legislative election becoming the joint-largest party in that coalition alongside the more established People's Party. The Path accused the government of electoral fraud in that election and as a result were amongst those who organised the 2016-17 Shangean Protests with the leaders of the Path, Kang and Chen leading protests. The subsequent government crackdown saw many Path members including Chen arrested and Kang flee to Senria whilst the organisation was banned as a terrorist group.
