The Scitaria-class was a class of battleships intended to be built for the Navy of the Syaran Republic. They were intended to succeed the Galania-class battleships, who's rushed design had left the class under-powered and slower than her contemporaries, especially those fielded by the Cacertian Royal Navy that they were expected to challenge. As a result the Admiralty put in a request for new battleship design while the Galania-class was still in production. The result was the Scitaria-class, first floated in 1925. The design would have been the largest warship ever built by the Republic of Syara, and among the largest in all of Tyran.

However, just shortly after the Scitaria-class was proposed issues arose. The class was intended to carry the largest naval guns ever built by Syara, triple 406 mm (16 inch) guns as her primary armament, but she could only carry three of them, and her secondary weapon systems was also considered suspect. Issues with developing her thick armor were further compromised with Syaran inexperience with constructing such large warships, and the lack of adequate port facilities to accommodate the massive size of the hull. Although preparations were made for the first two ships to be laid down in 1928, the class was cancelled the same year. The successor of the Galania-class would eventually be the Makedon-class battleships.
