The party opposes left-wing movements as well as monarchist movements emerged from relation with Amenria in favor of republicanism and Asia-Pacific nationalism. The current chairman is Manuel D. Agapito. The Republican Party traces it origins to multiple parties existed before the third world war, such as Republican Party of the United States, Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and Kuomintang of Taiwan.
