  • 11 January 1978 - Protests in Conelibek breakout, starting the 1978 Seketese revolution.
  • 22 April 1978 - Seketese President Etyjen Pesan resigns amid protests and public pressure. He will be the last Kjedorate leader of Seketan.
  • 23 April 1978 - Markus Heilmann is appointed by the Hérvynsken as interim President, being Seketans first non-Kjedorate leader.
  • 13 November 1978 - Seketan holds its first fully democratic elections, with the Socialist Party and Democrats winning the most seats.
  • 14 November 1978 - Patjik Moulette of the Socialist Party is made Prime Minister of Seketan, the first left-wing leader of Seketan.
