Jefustraz, officially known as the United Kingdom of Jefustraz, is a sovereign nation located in the southeastern corner of the continent of Nortua. Bordered by the nation of Zoygaria to the west and Greland to the north, Jefustraz boasts a rich and diverse cultural heritage. Its strategic position is defined by the majestic Greland Strait, which flows along its eastern and southern boundaries. The nation also includes the significant island of Brondir to the south, where the capital city of Fehrmont is situated.
Jefustraz's history begins thousands of years ago when the first humans came about in the island of Brondir. There multiple small clans gained the control of the land, with 5 major factions vying for Power. After a series of wars among the factions, Jefustraz was finaly united on 2nd December of 1246. King Valdemar I Angelos of the Mondsyn clan was declared the first King of Jefustraz. The nation also went through 2 major civil wars and finally a magna carta signed in 1637 limited the power of the monarchy and established a parliamentary system with the monarch as just a figurehead.
With its picturesque landscapes ranging from rolling plains to lush forests, Jefustraz offers breathtaking natural beauty that attracts both locals and visitors alike. The Republic of Jefustraz is renowned for its vibrant arts scene, encompassing diverse forms of expression such as music, dance, and traditional crafts. The Inderish music is a type of music famous in the northern part of Jefustraz and has a unique blend of Rumani, Zoygarian and Brondiri style. Apart from that, special designer clothes, called the Valkeri worn by many in Southeastern Nortua has it's origin in the Brondir Islands. Its cultural heritage is celebrated through numerous festivals and events throughout the year including the Moonshadow festival, showcasing the nation's rich tapestry of traditions and customs.
Jefustraz operates under a federal parliamentary system, where power is shared between the central government and the regional administrations. The political landscape is characterized by a multi-party system, with several political parties vying for representation and influence. The highest authority is vested in the Prime Minister, who serves as the head of government. The Prime Minister is elected through a democratic process, and their term in office is limited to 5 years before another election. A person is allowed to rule as the PM for 20 consecutive years only, though no one in Jefustraz's history has ever acheived it.
Diplomatically, the nation has maintained good relations with almost all nations. Even though Jefustraz had a lot of wars and battles against it's immediate neighbours, Zoygaria, the 2 nations have managed to overcome their differences and get a long lasting peace in the modern era. Jefustraz is also a member of the Coalition of Crown Albatross.

Brondir Island
The Brondir Island is a major island located south of the mainland. The largest island under the jurisdiction of Jefustraz, Brondir was named after the founder of Drelskrein clan, Brondir the undying, who is said to have been the first to rule nearly all of the island. The geography of the island is quite diverse with the midlands being mostly low mountain ranges and plateaus. These ranges are filled with forests and mostly uninhabited, though there are a few major cities like the Valker city that have historically used these forests to evade attack from other factions. Multiple rivers flow through these forests, mostly formed by the Ulker mountains, a range of 7 major mountains that is the only range that has snow. The most important of these is the Kittor River that flows by the Northfort city. The coastal regions are more plains and grasslands. These region are fertile with the river fed western coast being the bastion for agriculture in the island. The western coast mostly relies on fishing and tourism via it's amazing beaches. Multiple cities including the Capital Fehrmont City, the cities of Harton, Canichill, Petrin etc are located here,.

Government
The government system of Jefustraz has broadly divided the law making powers among 3 basic entities, called the organs of the government. These organs include the Legislative, the Executive and the Judiciary. The Legislative consists of the House of General Representatives and Royal Representatives along with the Monarch and the speakers and are mostly indluged in making and passing of bills that have the potental to become good laws. The Executive consisting of the head of the government, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and the cabinet of ministers. The Judiciary is completely separate from the Legislative and the Executive. They are completely impartial in their jurisdiction making the other two organs completely answerable to them.
The head of state of Jefustraz is the monarch, known as the Sovereign of Jefustraz. The monarch serves as a unifying symbol and represents the continuity of the kingdom. The position is primarily ceremonial, with the monarch performing official duties such as state visits, the granting of honors, and representing the nation on the global stage. The monarch's role is largely symbolic, and the day-to-day governance of the country is carried out by the executive branch.
Legislative
The Legislature of Jefustraz, also known as the Jefustraz Parliament, is the governing body responsible for enacting laws and representing the interests of the people in the United Kingdom of Jefustraz. As a federal constitutional monarchy, Jefustraz combines the principles of a monarchy with a federal system of governance. The legislature plays a crucial role in shaping the nation's policies, safeguarding the rights and welfare of its citizens, and ensuring a harmonious balance of power.
The Jefustraz Parliament consists of two main chambers: the House of General Representatives, called the General House and the House of Royal Representatives, called the Senate or the Royal House. These chambers work in conjunction to deliberate and pass legislation. The General House represents the voice of the people and is composed of elected representatives from various constituencies across Jefustraz. The Senate, on the other hand, is comprised of members appointed by the Noble Families of each region of Jefustraz as well as the members appointed by the Royal family of Angelos. The members, however, may not beof royal or noble descent themselves.
The Jefustraz Parliament is responsible for legislative functions, including the creation, amendment, and repeal of laws. It serves as a platform for public debate, enabling representatives to voice the concerns and interests of their constituents. Additionally, the legislature plays a vital role in overseeing the actions of the executive branch, ensuring accountability and transparency in governance. It also approves the national budget and exercises financial oversight.
Jefustraz follows a federal system, with power shared between the central government and the regional governments. The regional governments, known as Provinces, have their own legislative bodies responsible for local governance within their respective jurisdictions. The Jefustraz Parliament maintains authority over matters of national significance, such as defense, foreign policy, and constitutional affairs, while allowing the provinces to manage regional affairs and implement policies tailored to their specific needs.
Executive
The Executive of Jefustraz is responsible for the implementation and execution of government policies, as well as the day-to-day administration of the United Kingdom of Jefustraz. As a federal constitutional monarchy, Jefustraz combines the principles of a monarchy with a federal system of governance. The executive branch plays a crucial role in steering the nation's affairs, coordinating various government agencies, and ensuring the effective functioning of the state.
The head of government is the Prime Minister, who serves as the chief executive and leads the executive branch. The Prime Minister is typically the leader of the political party or coalition that holds the majority in the House of General Representatives, the elected chamber of the Jefustraz Parliament. The Prime Minister is responsible for formulating government policies, overseeing their implementation, and representing Jefustraz domestically and internationally.
The executive power is exercised through the Cabinet, a group of ministers appointed by the Prime Minister. Each minister is responsible for a specific government department or portfolio, such as finance, defense, health, education, and transportation. The Cabinet collectively makes decisions on important policy matters and collaborates with government agencies to implement those policies effectively. Jefustraz has a range of government agencies that operate under the executive branch. These agencies are responsible for various aspects of governance, such as law enforcement, economic planning, social welfare, infrastructure development, and environmental protection. They work in tandem with the Cabinet and the Prime Minister's office to carry out the government's agenda and deliver services to the citizens of Jefustraz.
Given the federal structure of Jefustraz, the executive branch collaborates closely with the regional governments, known as provinces. This cooperation ensures that policies and programs are effectively implemented at both the national and regional levels. The executive branch maintains regular communication and coordination with provincial leaders to address regional needs and concerns, while also upholding the unity and integrity of the kingdom.
Judiciary
The Judiciary of Jefustraz is the branch of the government responsible for the interpretation and application of the law, ensuring the fair and impartial administration of justice within the United Kingdom of Jefustraz. The judiciary serves as a crucial pillar of the country's legal system, upholding the principles of justice, equity, and the rule of law.
The judicial system of Jefustraz is organized hierarchically, consisting of multiple levels of courts that handle various types of cases. At the apex of the judicial structure is the Supreme Court of Jefustraz, which serves as the highest court in the country. It is the final arbiter in matters of constitutional interpretation, ensuring the consistency and constitutionality of laws. Lower in the hierarchy are the regional or provincial courts, which handle cases at the regional level. These courts address a wide range of legal matters, including civil disputes, criminal cases, administrative issues, and appeals from lower courts. They play a vital role in delivering justice and maintaining the rule of law at the regional level. The judiciary also includes specialized courts, such as the Constitutional Court, which specifically deals with constitutional matters, ensuring the constitutionality of laws and protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals. Additionally, there are specialized courts that focus on areas such as labor disputes, commercial matters, family law, and administrative law.
The judiciary of Jefustraz is characterized by its independence from the executive and legislative branches of the government. Judges are appointed based on their qualifications, expertise, and merit, rather than political considerations. This ensures that judges can make impartial decisions and apply the law objectively, free from undue influence or interference. The principle of judicial independence safeguards the integrity and credibility of the judicial system, ensuring public trust and confidence in the administration of justice. Judges are expected to interpret and apply the law in a fair and impartial manner, upholding the principles of justice and protecting the rights of individuals.
