Cornelius Pureheart is a Blackhelm Confederate politician currently serving as the Head of the Blackhelm Confederate Senate. Pureheart played a key role in the establishment of the Blackhelm Confederacy, and was one of the leaders of the Senatorial forces during the Blackhelm Confederate Revolution.
Early life and education
Born in Paradise City, the son of a school teacher and his wife, Pureheart was educated at St. Paul's Universtiy in Redemption, earning a degree in international affairs.
Early career
Shortly after graduating, Pureheart took a position in the Imperial Exponential Ministry of Foreign Affairs in early 1970.
Blackhelm Confederate Senate
Shortly after the creation of the new Blackhelm Confederacy, Pureheart ran for and won a Senate seat from Paradise City, running on a campaign that promised to bring new outside investment to Paradise City from Lorecia and Teudallum.
In 2011, Pureheart became one of the leading forces of the pro-Senate faction during the Blackhelm Confederate Revolution rallying support against Chancellor Lucius Blackhelm.
Following the end of the Revolution, Pureheart was made the Head of the Blackhelm Confederate Senate, where he has represented the Confederacy on the world stage and met with leaders from across the planet.
Personal Life
Pureheart has been married to his wife, Melita, since 1971. The couple has three children.
In popular culture
Pureheart is often seen as the face of Blackhelm Confederate policies abroad, and has been enormously influential in designing the Confederate strategies and ambitions on the world stage. As such he has appeared in publications worldwide, and satirical images of him are also not uncommon.
