The 2020 Summingian state election took place in the Besmenian state of Summingia on March 15, 2020.
Background
Electoral system
The election to the State Chamber of Summingia is decided according to proportional representation. The electoral threshold is 5%. The legislative period is six years. Those who had their main residence in Summingia as of February 21, 2021 and were 18 or older on election day were eligible to vote. Summingians abroad were also able to cast their votes. However, they were not allowed to live abroad for more than ten years and had to submit an application to do so.
