Faroi or Faroistan, officially the Republic of Faroi (Farokandi: Rézpublika Faroiak; Faroian: Rézpobalika Faroiak; Pirvanian: Roszapobalak Faroyina; Hokanoian: Respoblik Faroiki) is a federal republic of Farokand. It holds the primary Farokandi capital city of Faroi, which also serves as the administrative centre of the Republic of Faroi. With a population of 46,160,988, it is the most populous Farokandi federal republic. Faroi borders Nursaim, Murokar, and Ardil to the east and the Faroian Sea to the west. Major cities in the republic include Faroi, Hokanoi, Sokand, Karotza, and Karstal.
The area of the Republic of Faroi was first settled by the Alaikuhi and the Narahoyk, two major Borfusan tribes. These tribes were eradicated by the invading Malthasvars, who dispersed across the region and eventually made permanent settlements. The Faroian people dominated the region, establishing the Kingdom of Faroi in the west. In the central and eastern areas, the Kingdom of Pirvania was founded. In the late 12th century, as the beginning of the Kazarese Wars, the Kingdom of Faroi conquered Pirvania and Kaleztia, uniting the modern region of Faroi. The region remained under the possession of Faroi, and later Farokand, until the Federal Proclamation of 2014, which established the Republic of Faroi in its modern form as the direct successor to the former constituent nation.
Geographically, the Republic of Faroi is divided into four main parts: the Körzal Lowlands in the north, the Faroian Coast in the west and south, the Pirvanian Hills in the center of the republic, and a small part of the Kaleztian Mountains in the east. A majority of the republic's population lives on the low and fertile coastal areas as well as along the river Golani. The main historical regions in the republic are Faroi, Markovia, and Pirvania, alongside a small portion of Kaleztia.
