Nursaim (Nursaimi: Nursam), officially the Republic of Nursaim (Farokandi: Rézpublika Nursaimi; Nursaimi: Ressopubliya Nursamiya) is a federal republic of Farokand. Its capital and largest city, Nursaim, serves as the political, economic, and cultural centre of the region. It has a population of 14,892,119, ranking it among the least-populated federal republics. Nursaim borders the federal republics of Murokar and Faroi, and the republic of Nusomm is located just off the coast over the Özi Strait. Most of Nursaim's coastline is along the Nursaimi Sea to the west. Major cities in Nursaim besides the capital include Nursaim Novari, Režim, and Podavil Boltar.
Nursaim has long been an important maritime region, especially for military forces. First inhabited by the Borfusan tribe of the Nursi, it was invaded by the Malthasvars during the Malthasvarian migration. The Malthasvars established the village of Režim, making it the second-most continuously-inhabited settlement in Farokand, just behind Enerisal.
