Adelstadt or Adel City, officially the State of Adelstadt (Adelstadter Tyrnican: Bundesstaat Adelstadt) is a Tyrnican freely associated city-state located in Marceaunia. It is a semi-enclave that is entirely bordered on land by Syosset. Adelstadt is home to 8.2 million people and is the most populous city in Maurceaunia. Adelstadt's capital is the province of Innenstadt. The city comprises of seven provinces, which are broken down into municipalities. Adelstadt is the center of the Adelstadt metropolitan area, which spans the entirity of Adelstadt and expands into Syosset, being one of the largest international metropolitan areas.
Adelstadt was originally discovered by Karst-Jan Stuyvesant and was inhabited by the XXX tribe. The amount of indigenous people on Adelstadt was extremely sparse, and Stuyvesant passed through this area. Several explorers led by August Ehrenfried Kegel settled Adelinsel, the primary island that makes up Adelstadt.
Adelstadt has considered to be a global leader of innovation, alongside being anchored by the financial hub of Stuyvesant Square, the free thought and philosophy area of Banteln and the government hall in Innenstadt.
